Restaurant is within the Anaheim Majestic Hotel. You have to enter their paid parking lot, but if you eat at the restaurant your ticket will get validated.
Food is great. Always depends on how good the fish is they get. But definitely better quality than ayce sushi. It’s not a bad price for what you are getting. (this is not fast food so don’t expect cheap prices). For future visits, I would probably stay focused on ordering nigiri or sashimi.
They do offer shabu, but have not tried.
Minor complaint, there’s quite a few fruit flies that are randomly flying around and disturb the dining experience.
I have enjoyed great sushi in my years of global travel, including many visits to Japan, and this was right up there with the best. I highly recommend this restaurant and am looking forward to coming back to do this all over again.
Service was top-notch. The shishito peppers are maybe the best I’ve had at a Japanese restaurant. Salmon was out of this world.
Other than some flies and gnats flying around, this was absolutely a must-try restaurant. Probably best for small families after a day at Disneyland or Downtown Disney.
I’ve been living in Anaheim for over 4 years, and I can honestly say — I’ve never had Japanese food this good before. From start to finish, our evening was flawless.
We found this gem through OpenTable (thank you, OpenTable!), where I instantly booked a reservation. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a kind and welcoming host who quickly showed us to our table. Just two minutes later, our drinks arrived, followed by our food only five minutes after that — the service was impressively fast and organized.
I started with a Sapporo on draft, followed by another Japanese beer (I wish I remembered the name — it was incredible). But the real highlight of the night was learning how to properly enjoy traditional sake. I never realized there was such a beautiful ritual behind it — sipping it slowly, appreciating the depth of flavor. It was a fantastic experience.
Now the food… absolutely exceptional. The sushi, rolls, nigiri, and gunkan were beyond delicious — everything was fresh, expertly prepared, and beautifully presented. This is top-tier Japanese cuisine.
A special shout-out to our waiter, German — he was phenomenal. So attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food and drink. His recommendations made our evening even better.
The bill was very reasonable for the quality we received, and we left extremely satisfied. I’m already looking forward to coming back — and bringing friends next time. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Japanese food with warm service and a great atmosphere, this place is an absolute must-visit.
They do have house-made soya sauce with 0% sodium!
Yuzu cheesecake could have more yuzu flavor though.
Dont forget to validate your parking ticket for the complimentary parking.
