Extremely disappointed/unsatisfied. I want to start off by apologizing to the owner, I mean no disrespect. But I do hope that you appreciate a customers honesty! Today I ordered 2 Fish Fry Dinner’s @ $15 dollar a piece (standard price, for fish dinner’s) – 30 min. wait time (A bit long, but may be due to peak hour.)
Once the box was opened, I was in complete dismay. The portion size of fish served (shown in picture’s) was extremely small for the price charged, further more reminded me of frozen fish stick’s. Meat was not over cooked, in fact flaky – only plus to meal.
Fries were not even edible! Hard, Dried out, tasted old or just left under heat lamp way to long. The Chief really should have be ashamed that he even allowed them to be served to customers! (This is no exaggeration! Someone could chip their tooth) Lastly the Coleslaw was bitter and dry. Sad to say I will not be a returning customer! Due to the dissatisfaction and quality of the meal, I have to give such a poor review. Again I want to apologize to the owner of this establishment for this poor review.

Unless you like having frozen food warmed up for you and sold to you at a price like they actually made it, avoid this place. We ordered their pizza and 10 wing deal on the DoorDash app. The image of the pizza is a large pizza with cup and char pepperoni. Not much different than what you find in Buffalo. What we got was a personal pan sized warmed up frozen pizza with the cheap margarita pepperoni on it. And I say warmed up because they couldn’t be bothered to actually cook their frozen pizza all the way through. Ignore all this restaurant owner’s friend’s reviews. Look at the woman’s review about the fish fry that tastes like frozen fish. Their food is nasty.

What a fantastic job they did building this brand new Lackawanna restaurant and drinkery is exceptional. They covered all the bases. Appetizers entrees and desserts were all exceptional I highly recommend a trip to L-City. Absolutely Top-Notch. 5-STARS The Staff are very attentive and very polite.

Ordered online for a takeout order, but once I arrived for pickup, my friend and I decided to stay because it was slow at the time so we could easily social distancing inside. This was definitely a good call, as we were able to try two of their house cocktails. I had the Electric Avenue ($8) and my friend at the Pear Me Up ($9). Both were delish and strong. I forgot to ask our bartender’s name, but she was funny and engaging.
On the food front, I had the Bacon and Blue Cheese Burger ($13.00) and my friend had the Pistachio-crusted Salmon ($17.00). The pics may not do it justice since they were packed to-go, but both entrees were very good. The salmon came with a choice of side and salad. Risotto was chosen for this one and it was good.
For my burger meal, the only disappointment was the fries. They were just okay.
Overall it was a good dining experience and I’d recommend checking it out if Lackawanna or the general area.

AMAZING! Third experience here. Every time exceeded my expectations. The service is just not heard of in Lackawanna. Real 5 star service. All staff dressed to impress and professional customer service that is so genuine. The food is awesome. The fish fry was crazy good and out does anything in the area. The prices are regular price for everything or cheaper. Very great deal to get this level of service and quality of food for a regular price. Food ordered: Pizza balls appetizer, they are amazing and unique! My cousin and his girl were impressed with the food amazed the service as well. Living here forever it’s about time someplace set the bar!
We no longer have to drive far to have amazing food and great service! Brittany, thank you for your great personality every time we come!!

The place is pretty new, the staff are very friendly and the service is superb. Their food is fantastic and for the price you get large portions. From burgers to Italian, everything is seasoned and garnished. Their coffee is well priced with a selection of speciality coffees and flavorshots. Hundred percent worth visiting this place.

We used to come here when it was the Beef and Ale and L City has completely blown us away with thier incredible service, the reconstruction and food. It was AMAZING. My fiance had the scallops and shrimp rossuto and I had the special Lemon Sole and we raved the whole time we ate both! Highly recommend this place! You won’t be disappointed. I already can’t wait to come back, and I’m still sitting at the bar!

This was our second visit as we were given a gift certificate from L-City and we’re willing to give a place a second chance.
Unfortunately, we will probably not go again. I ordered the Maryland crab cakes. They were the smallest crab cakes I’ve ever seen and barely any crab, it was mostly filler for $14! My husband had the meatballs and a Caesar salad. He enjoyed the salad and said the meatballs were okay.
There is a new menu item they are promoting called Hayburner pickles with Chipotle sauce. Our other diner decided to try them and summer wings. We decided to try them on the server’s suggestion. They were pickle spears partially deep fried and there wasn’t any sauce.
The place is beautiful and the servers are friendly, but we don’t plan on ever going back. It’s steak house prices without the steakhouse quality.

Decided not to cook on a 85° day after work, opted to try takeout and chose the Roast Beef on Kimmelwick. The sandwich was a good size with fresh cut fries and a pickle. Extremely happy with ordering online, the bartender was very helpful and nice. Definitely will be back on my day off to check out more items on the menu. The place is cute and renovated.
