There is no buffet any more or at the time there wasn’t, it was after 12pm on a Saturday. The atmosphere was empty and sad, I thought they was closed at first but a lady got my attention at the counter. I had ordered food because I thought it would be busy. I asked her why the buffet wasn’t set up and she said they don’t do that. She told me if people want to eat and seat down they have to order what they want. The food was OK, I didn’t like the egg rolls if thats what they were or the beef lol mein. The chicken fried rice was great! Loved it! Plus the cream cheese wontons was awesome! So was the sweat and sour fried chicken. I will go back to ordered the things I really liked but not to dinn in. I feel like maybe their not getting much busyness anymore. I ordered enough food for 3 to 4 ppl and it cost me $58.

I’ve not been for about 15yrs, but I have been probably 100times. This restaurant played a major role in my childhood. Every time I went it was a delicious good time.
It’s a family run operation. I went to school with the eldest son. He also worked there. The old fashioned way. His parents are very East Asian, so they do not talk to anyone and frankly they do not work for you or owe you anything. Accept what you are given and be grateful.
I cannot wait until my next trip back home so I can go here. I hope they have the exact same picture on the wall with the crane and the Eastern Chinese landscape that they had when I was a teenager. That will remind me of the good times I had at the buffet with my friends.

Friendly service but food was horrible. I got general Tso’s and my gf got sesame chicken. It just had no flavor, the meat tasted almost mushy or soggy, and the rice tasted like it was a week old.There wasnt a person inside or a car outside waiting except us and now I know why. It’s probably the worst Chinese I ever had. Then after paying $30 on 2 combo meals plus 4 egg rolls, she only gave me 2 of each of the sauces that were kept behind the counter. This food should come with PLENTY more sauces to make it edible. Do yourself a favor and drive out of town for Chinese.

Don’t be discouraged by the looks. This small town Chinese restaurant is packed full of flavors. I got the bourbon chicken with broccoli and it was cooked perfectly. The fried cheese wontons were fresh and light served with lots of sweet and sour sauce. The lomein was simple yet delicious. I definitely recommend this place to any locals or travelers! Check it out and support the friendly owners! 🙂

Well! I’m somewhat at a loss for words. My experience was the total opposite of most of these reviews. I’d never go back. It’s been a long time since I had chinese food THIS bad.
Flavor and taste are truly objective “down that way”. So you all know, I’ve had east coast, west coast and all types of styles of Chinese in between and this ones in the bottom 3.
Now, the place.
Feeling more like I’m in a prison lunchroom rather than a Chinese buffet, I’m surrounded by nothing but blue collar guys all “chowing down on the cheap”, lol. Not one lady in sight. Feels kinda creepy, like I’m gonna have to give up my corn bread and puddin if I want protection during outside recess in “the yard”, lol.
As for the food, typical looking but VERY bland in flavor. Food wasnt even fully prepared till almost noon (restaurant opens at 11), which left you wondering if the buffet is not that big of a business for then. Besides the teriyaki chicken, everything was either bland as all get out or tasted the same and the 2 soup options, egg drop and hot and sour were FAR too full of thickeners and fillers to really enjoy, and also bland. The wontons were good.
I do have to admit, that for only $5.85, including fountain drinks and/or hot tea it’s not a bad deal. I just wouldn’t come here with an expectation above mediocre nor a want for having any craving(s) satisfied.
But you can leave full!

I had takeout here and would not get it again. The chicken is fried and dry, served with sauce on the side which ends up not being very good at all. The egg rolls were nothing to write home about. Service was fine but the dining area is pretty gross.

This is a carryout type restaurant. This website shows a buffet. There is no buffet. False advertisement. There are tables you can sit down to eat. (Very worn down atmosphere) The food tasted good & fresh. For the price, I felt the portions were small compared to other Chinese restaurants I’ve been to. Everything is served in carryout containers with plasticware. This place is fine if you want carryout but not as a sit down restaurant. I drove out of my way to go here because of the misinformation on the website. Just your average carryout type Chinese restaurant.
