On entrance atmosphere is very relaxing and comfortable.
We ordered California rolls, spring rolls, side salad and katsu with miso soup. Food was excellent. The service was timely with genuinely friendly staff. Will eat here again!!

I cannot give enough praise to this restaurant! The attention to detail and food quality is impeccable. Even the small side dishes were delicious and high quality. Probably my favorite restaurant in Kansas! You must try this place. The owner is lovely as well as staff. I absolutely adore this place!

We had very friendly staff who were very fast and sweet. The food came out not long after we ordered, and man the presentation and taste? Top notch! Easily one of my favorite places to eat here now! I do not know how more people were not here when I visited! Very high quality food and good size! Definitely a hidden gem in Lawrence. My sister and I have been to a lot of sushi places, and even tho this menu is not flashy, it delivers! Please support this business! ♥️

This was the third time for me to eat at Moriki Sushi but after the first experience, I knew we would be regulars!
I lived in Japan for five years and I am always looking for the best sushi wherever we go.
Celebrating my birthday in May at Moriki I knew I had found the place .Truly the BEST.
The service is exceptional, the food is fresh and delicious, and the prices are very reasonable.
Tonight we tried the fried mushroom appetizer for the first time and it was out of this world yummy! I find myself craving their unusual lattice-like Gyoza.
And after trying several different specialty rolls, I am now declaring my favorite the 0613!
Spicy but not too much and the texture and presentation is so appealing.
The shrimp and sweet potato tempura was phenomenal!
Soooo good!
Lisa and Leo are wonderful hosts.
I expect to see this oh so special authentic Japanese restaurant booming with business in no time.

Best sushi place in Lawrence, hands down. The service was amazing, and the food was so good, and it was clean. I am going back again tonight to try some other stuff. I had the rainbow roll tropical rolls and crab Rangoon. Recommend to anyone wanting good food and service. Went back again, got the pepper tuna and the Vegas Rolls both were amazing.

I rarely write reviews but this sushi spot deserves all of the praise. The sushi was fresh, decadent, and full of flavor. The staff were all so kind and helpful with suggestions. I can’t wait for next time. This will definitely be a regular spot for us.

This place is AMAZING! Everything tasted so good and fresh, it was incredible. Space is very clean and the staff provide excellent service. The prices were more than reasonable given the exceptional quality. The chef also made time to ask us if everything was to our liking. I can not say enough good things about this experience. I wish them many years of success! Lawrence needs more options like this that are not located on Mass Street.

My husband has been here several times in the last couple months, but this was the first time I was able to enjoy the food. I literally talked about our meal for 10-15 minutes after we had left. The food was out of this world delicious. So many complex flavors that you’ve never experienced and nothing will ever compare. Don’t sleep on this place! I ordered the chicken teriyaki dinner (the first two photos), my husband had the poke bowl and we shared gyoza as an appetizer.

DELICIOUS!!! We ordered the volcano roll, snow crab roll, California roll, clear soup, dumplings, and not listed on the menu- crab rangoon. Place did not disappoint! Service was fast and super friendly. Will be going back.
