We ordered to-go, one and a half bushel of small/medium crabs and four dozen steamed shrimp, and everything was excellent. None of the crabs were dry or mushy, and most of them were very dense and filled with meat. Someone else treated so I don’t know how much we paid for them, but I really enjoyed every one of the dozen shrimp and 10 crabs I ate. I would definitely go here again.

We ordered 3 dozen mix small medium Steamed crabs. They were full, Steamed perfectly, and good seasoning. Always love getting crabs from SGC! Best crabs in the area at great price.

I ordered what I was told were “Monster Crabs” for Mother’s Day. $200 for two dozen. This crab is 5.75″ from tip to tip which is a medium according to the chart provided. The crabs were also light, but that is kind of expected this early in the season. I feel like I was ripped off. To be fair, when I asked about the small size, the guy I talked to did offer to give me my money back. They also charged a 4% fee for credit card transactions and would not accept a check. Would have been nice to know they charge the fee so I could have brought enough cash.

Bought 3 dozen of “large crabs”. The crabs were at best medium and very light. We had throw about 7 crabs away due to smell and sour taste. Crabs were absolutely terrible
Topping on the cake was when I was picking up the crabs they had an extremely vulgar song being played. Then girl helping me was rapping the lyrics out loud. Very sexual and crude in nature. The sound was “ carnival “ by Kanye west. Only reason I know is because she kept shouting “carnival is my shit”

I tried this place based on a recommendation from a co-worker. They were good. I ordered a dozen large crabs. Larges are supposed to be 5.5 inches – 6 inches. So I measured each one. I had two 5.5 inch crabs and eleven 6 inch They had an extra one thrown in there. They were delicious. I had 1 watery one. Overall decent. I would order again.

Since I moved up to PA in 2004, I was a 100% dedicated customer. A few years ago, I heard a new owner bought the establishment which I can’t confirm. Well since this rumor, crabs have gone downhill. First of all, their website says Maryland crabs. They are not MD crabs but from Louisiana. 95% of the time, the crabs are outstanding. Secondly, their website indicates a 1/2 bushel of large crabs equals to 36 crabs. Even the employees indicate I should get 36 crabs for a 1/2 bushel of large crabs. Now before the new ownership, I got a baker’s dozen on the 1/2 bushel. Since the new ownership, last year I received roughly 34 crabs which is ok with me. However, this year it’s strictly 30 crabs or less if they miscounted how many crabs they put in the bag. I go and get crabs at least once a week and their employees knows me by my first name. Thirdly, when I got crabs on a Wednesday or Thursday, the crabs were not freshly made but re-heated/steamed! In August, the crabs should be nice and full. When I complained, I got mostly empty/mushy crabs and exactly 30 crabs. I highly do not recommend She Got Crabs unless the management change its practice and stop taking hard earned money from consumers.
