I wish I could give 10 stars to this incredible restaurant. We are from New York and are used to some pretty good Mexican restaurants. This one is in our top five favorite in the whole country! From the friendly waitresses and atmosphere, to the all you can eat chips and homemade salsa! This establishment has every flavor you need on your pallet. We had three dollar beers and the selection was incredible for the price! From chips to dessert we would eat here weekly if we lived closer! Highly highly highly recommend this Mexican establishment.

Not a Mexican food fan at all. Despite that this place was wonderful. Fast polite service, GIGANTIC portions at super reasonable prices and the manager added the fan duel channel to their TV service just so we could watch the Hurricanes game.
Food was hot, tasty, and prepared beautifully and got to us quickly. A shrimp and steak APC was loaded with meat and I couldn’t even finish it. A mountain of food for $16? Unheard of and incredible. If you like Mexican food this is your place!!

I usually don’t necessarily like Mexican food, but this place absolutely floored me. The quality of the ingredients was superb, and healthy, even the tortilla chips were nice and oily. The shrimp was doused in the perfect dressing, and best of all, prices were still reasonable at around $15 per dish. Would absolutely come back!

I discovered Lobera a few months ago I decided to go a different route and try something different so I chose to go with the Birria Tacos. First bite I fell in love. The tacos were fresh, hot, flavorful, and delicious. I go here every week sometimes more than once. The staff is incredible, always asking if everything is ok. They always have a positive attitude and I get greeted every time I walk in. Overall it’s a good place to sit and chill while you eat I definitely recommend. Lobera Tacos and Tequila is by far THE best Mexican restaurant in Raleigh.

I had such a great experience at Lobera Tacos and Tequila! Their birria roll appetizer is incredible—super flavorful and definitely something I’ll be ordering again. I also tried the Mar y Tierra tacos, and they were absolutely amazing. I highly recommend both dishes if you’re planning to visit.
The service was just as impressive as the food. The waitresses are very kind and attentive, and I especially want to mention Cintia and Jannet. They were amazing—so caring, patient, and understanding, even with indecisive customers like me! Their great customer service made the whole experience even better.
Overall, I definitely recommend this place. I’ll be back! ✨

Great customer Service. I ordered the Vegan Enchiladas and they were absolutely Amazing! My non-Vegan family ordered the Birria Ramen and they all raved about it! I highly recommend!

Great little Mexican restaurant located near campus. The staff was very friendly from the time we walked in until the time we left. The food was really good as well. Each portion was enough to fill everyone’s belly and the bill didn’t break the bank. I highly recommend to stop in here for lunch if you’re in the area.
