We love our little local coney. Great family atmosphere. Awesome food. The skillets are our personal favorites. Perfect every time! Can’t recommend enough. This is a classic small town Michigan gem.

First (and last) time there. I got a take out last weekend. Unfortunately, it was the worst restaurant food I’ve ever had. I ordered a Greek salad and lemon rice soup. Much of the lettuce was wilted, the Greek dressing was a weird color (Pepto bismol pink) and lacked taste, and the soup was the color of dirty dishwater and had even less taste. Just tasted like salted rice. I won’t be back.

Fresh made food. Real flavor. Nothing frozen here! Pricing is spot on. Service was perfect. Clean. Family friendly! Everything we ate was delicious! Burgers were top notch fresh not frozen. Gyro was delicious and the pita is amazing. Highly recommend this place for lunch!

One of the only places around we can seem to get correct orders through Door Dash – and we get what we ask for, and it’s hot and good. Nothing fancy – simple diner food. Scrambled eggs were real and not the carton stuff. Sausage links, French toast and hash browns were delicious. Happy to have this local option!

UPDATED REVIEW – 9/24/25…
My friends and I have been stopping by once or twice a week for Lisa’s world famous breakfast home fries… those perfectly seasoned potato chunks that have never been made better anywhere else… and her omelets. But for lunch, I really like her delectable grilled cheese sandwiches. Pulled off the grill at their exact peak of ultimate melted goodness, they simply can’t be made any better. They remind me of the lunches my dear mother used to make me when I was a kid.
Everything at Linden Coney is delicious. You can’t go wrong with world-renown Chef, Lisa, in the kitchen.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I never knew that this fine Coney Island existed until my neighbor mentioned it this week. So, over the last few days, we have had lunch and then breakfast there.

First of all, even with the restaurant full of diners, the noise wasn’t overwhelming like Leo’s (a favorite place of mine) can be. As a retiree who has hearing issues, a less noisy environment is nice to dine in.

For lunch, I had the standard coneys (Detroit style) and fries. The owner, Lisa, didn’t disappoint. Her coneys were as good as anyone else’s. The fries were perfectly made. Neither greasy nor overdone.

For breakfast this morning, I had a 3-egg omlette with cheese, mushroom, ham, and sausage. Deeeeee-lish. The hashbrowns were perfect although I think I’ll try the breakfast potatoes next time like my buddy had.
Lisa’s son waited on us. He was attentive and very personable. He did a fine job.

Bridge Street Coney Cafe not only gives us a new place (new to us) to eat but it might just be our go-to place for coney food. And my neighbor and I take our coney food quite seriously! Since this is not a big chain but is owner-operated, I encourage people to support a great small, local business like this and give them your patronage. You won’t regret it since the food is wonderful and filling and you get a good value for your money.

Lisa, as Arnold said, “I’ll be back.”

My friend Mary and I stopped in for lunch this afternoon, and what a treat! The chicken pita and chicken quesadilla were delicious and the fries were terrific! We finished off with lemon meringue pie…let me just say it’s truly homemade. All the food is. Flavor abundant. Will definitely go again. Service is excellent too!
