I had a good experience at this restaurant. It offers a variety of Chinese dishes and cuisine. Decided to try the chow mein here and it was pretty nice, though the boneless chicken was not my favorite as it was cooked by boiling in water rather than grilling or baking (apologies if I’m wrong and the chicken has to be boiled in water in Chinese cuisine). Other than that though the food was nice.

The staff was also okay, though they didn’t quite speak English well but did understand most of the things that I wanted. The place was clean and organized though. Overall, this is a good Chinese restaurant.

Came here and it was packed. They have clean cutlery and a cute logo. Veggie portions were good. I enjoyed the simple rice noodle roll though you can also make a very large combo version of your choice. The other more standard Chinese dinner entrees were made well. I would definitely come back.

I think the beef chow fun I had here must’ve been the worst beef chow fun I’ve ever had. In my life.
The beef was tough and flavorless. I had the dry version of chow fun which is usually quite saucy already but this was totally without any flavor. Lots of bean sprouts, maybe too much bean sprouts and no vegetables. The chili sauce wasn’t very hot and spicy. It was really bland. It might just as well have been motor oil because there wasn’t any chili flakes in it, just an orange oil.
The service was indifferent. But could well have been worse because I was there just after it opened at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon and I was her first customer. So I think I dodged that one.
All in all a complete miss. Don’t come here if you value your health because I had to find a restroom soon after I left because it caused me the worst stomach pain cI’ve had in a long time. It all came out after three sessions on the toilet! The bill came to $17 plus tax and I rounded it out to $20 so a tip of $1.49.

Cheong fun was good and so was the milk tea! Prices are fairly reasonable though it’s cash only( I think they also take Venmo)

The porridge was a bit plain and the beef short ribs were just ok. The chicken wings are heavily battered, not in the way that I’d like but still ok. All in all, average food but not too many actual HK breakfast dishes besides cheong fun and porridge

It’s a local Cantonese restaurant. The food is good and I especially like the wonton soup. I hope the service and environment can be better and cleaner. Also it’s kinda hard to find the parking

Their beef crispy noodles $17 is not very good. The consistency of the gravy was too watery, as well as too much of it. The crispy noodles quickly became soggy. The beef was not tenderized, chewy and rough. I didn’t like pieces of ginger mixed in. Ginger slices are not something that is in Hong Kong style crispy noodles. At least the food came out fast and service was excellent.

Joyful Kitchen was busy at 7:30pm on a Wednesday. They were already out of chow fun. Emmy’s Restaurant next door is still closed for indoor dining. Maybe that’s why Joyful was busy. Joyful is more known for their breakfast dishes and not dinner dishes.

New establishment located on Ocean Avenue near 24 Hour gym and next to Emma’s restaurant. There rice porridge/ conger is pretty good. Size is personal sized for all porridge items. Their rice noodles are really good in terms of freshness and how customizable they are. Service was alright, slightly lacking in terms of paying more attention to customers. The interior is quite clean, but the restroom (one, unisex) can use some TLC… Heh. Prices are descent.

My family and I had dinner here last night, the food was absolutely fantastic! The restaurant owners are very friendly and gracious. Our favorite are: the crab congee (rice soup), the shrimps, the rice cakes and the pig intestines stir fried. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

SO happy that I found this place during quarantine. I saw a photo of their cheong fun on instagram and was excited that this place was located near me. I’ve been here countless times since prices are cheap and affordable. They’re fast and the food tastes great. Should note that they take cash only, but I think they accept venmo as well. I’ve tried their cheong fun with shrimp, beef, egg and corn, and liver. All of them have been great and I love this style of cheong fun, where the toppings are on top, rather than inside. I’ve also tried their pan fried noodles. They kept the sauce and noodles separate which I greatly appreciated. The noodles were fresh and super crispy. Their salt and pepper wings are also full of flavor and a great snack. I would highly recommend this place!

The service attitude of this restaurant is not good at all! Don’t go! I used to like eating here, and I also liked to order takeout. I found that the soy sauce of takeout and dine-in is different! I don’t recommend you to eat rice rolls here at all. Although the rice rolls are delicious, the soy sauce is very unhygienic! The attitude of the waiter is really not good at all! No smile at all, when giving the bill, he just threw it over, and when serving the food, he treated us like dogs. The waiter came to feed us, put us down and left. The first experience was too bad! Don’t go!
