Lord lord lord. OK I’ve eaten many burgers around DFW. This place hits my heart and soul. It reminds me of my childhood with my dad. It’s always the best of the best of burgers. I’ve tried many of there burgers from here. Not one complaint. It’s just homestyle cooking all over here. A must try. Like for real it’s that’s that freaking delicious.

Place was clean, smelled good, and nicely decorated. Had black tea – noice. Proper proportions on the double cheeseburger (2 thick patties) and fries for a hungry boy. Burger cooked a bit more well-done than I like it, but I think some extra sauce would’ve done the trick. Fries, perhaps a smidge under-cooked… well-seasoned, but I was not a fan of the texture. What the heck do I know, I ain’t no wanna be foodie! Go git you some, cause I’ll be back!

The hospitality was very much there I’m a very happy customer they greeted me with smiles. Offered me a complimentary drink when I said I was just getting fries cause I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so I just ordered some fries at first. Then thought like why not get a burger here too lol. Then ordered a burger they were so nice!!! I didn’t get none of their names, but the person that took my order (he had glasses)he gave me 10% off and as I was trying to food for the first time; It was good. Then a couple minutes later he ended up bringing me an ice cream with a spoon. I’m like wow so nice so thoughtful I felt like I was getting Queen treatment, or just nice energy from a good establishment treatment God bless this establishment.

Our experience was of the Dine-in variety. Burger Island features a walk up counter for order, but they do bring your food to the table. There are lots of ways they can prepare your burger, fries, tots, or sandwich, so we took a few moments to really look the menu over before placing our order. Once the order was placed, they prepared our food fresh. The amount of food was appropriate for pricing structure, and worth every penny. We cut the burgers in half and still needed two hands to hold and eat.
They have more than enough burger options to keep us coming back for more, for many years to come. While dinning we noticed how many take out orders kept rolling in, too. This place is clearly a top choice. Try Burger Island the next time you want burgers! Hope your experience is as great as ours.

I ordered the Double Deluxe burger. The patties were juicy and cooked perfectly, but they lacked flavor. The bun wasn’t toasted long enough, so my burger started falling apart. I tasted more of the tomato and cheese. I’d give my burger a 2/5. The fries were bland and slightly dry. My wife ordered the Jungle Burger and she gives it a solid 4/5. Thanks to all the condiments and sauces that were piled on the Jungle Burger, she said that it gave it flavor, but like my patties, hers was lacking in flavor. As for the onion rings, she said this was probably the best ones she’s had in a while, so a 5/5. Overall rating, I gave this place a 4/5. I was happy enough that my burger patties were cooked to medium rare and juicy. I’d definitely give this place another try.

The food was delicious and the patty was cooked perfectly. The service was super quick and the staff was really friendly. If you’re looking for a good burger at a great price, this is the place to go. It was my first time coming here, but it definitely won’t be my last.

The burger was perfect. Would definitely recommend the bacon bleu burger and onion rings. The kids were disappointed though because they didn’t have shakes (although we saw it online but apparently not all locations do) but they do have ice cream cups.
