We were visiting from out of town and stopped in hoping to enjoy some Mexican food with our family. Unfortunately, the experience felt unwelcoming. When we walked in, there was no greeting or eye contact, even though the restaurant was empty. We had to grab menus ourselves, and when we asked about a kids menu, we were told there wasn’t one without any guidance or help offered. No one checked in or let us know they’d be with us shortly. We decided to leave and thanked them for their time, and the response was simply “okay, bye.” The lack of basic hospitality made us uncomfortable, so we chose to eat elsewhere don’t spend your money here especially your time if they don’t acknowledge it.

We live nearby so we order often from here and this is the best Mexican food on the Lake. The tacos are so good they come with grilled onions and a grilled jalapeño onions and salsa. The burritos are good and so are the Quesabirria tacos. They are very reasonably priced as well. Best Mexican food by far for Lake County.

Only tried this place twice. Both times ordered a wet super burrito carne asada. I think they put cold red sauce on top of the burrito so it makes the burrito cold. Still good though.

Surprisingly good restaurant in the middle Lucerne. The Carnitas plate was delicious and the Agua de Melon was refreshing and made with real melon. The beans were da bomb. Loved them.

Today at 2:30pm I walked in and asked do you have fish soup the girl said yes can I have one she replied Togo or for here I said for here so she charged me around $20.00 ahead of time around 15 minutes later she bring me shrimp soup and I asked where’s the fish she said I ordered shrimp soup I said no I never mentioned anything about shrimp and I wanted my fish soup or give my money back she refused to give me fish soup and or money back I was really piss I normally come for the fish tacos but this will be my last meal here this is worse than garbage I hope the owner is happy about it people please waste your money somewhere else is not worth it

Was working nearby and stopped in. Very friendly people and very fast. The burrito was great and had lot of flavor. Not dripping everywhere and making a mess but not dry. Would recommend a stop in for sure!

authentic horchata. the chicken enchiladas are yummy. only one bathroom. we came at 12:50pm on thursday and it wasn’t busy. our food came fast. they serve salsa verde y rojo with their chips and both are a little spicy. we took an horchata to go because it was so good. our server was nice and efficient
