Just moved out to Leland from Castle Hayne and have been looking for a new pizza spot. First time ordering and the pizza was amazing! I like a slightly crispy but soft baked crust and it was absolutely perfect! Not too thick and not too thin, perfect! I chose the white pizza and added chicken and tomatoes. Was topped with parm cheese and oregano and had an amazing flavor! Will absolutely be ordering again! Plus it’s only 5 mins from my house! Definitely found my new pizza spot!

The overall experience was excellent. Let’s break it down into 3 areas:
Ordering- Website was easy to use and not clunky in any way.
Service- Delivery was on time and the pizza was still hot when it arrived. You are able track location throughout which is a nice addition.
Pizza- The pizza was very tasty and arrived correct and all toppings were fresh and really made this pizza pop. The sourdough crust is also a nice departure from traditional pizza that made it memorable.
All in all, my best comment is that next time i am looking for delivery pizza Wheelz will be my go to.

First time we tried this pizza restaurant. We ordered online and it was an easy process. The pizza was delicious and all the ingredients were very fresh. I particularly liked the crust. It did take a few minutes wait when we arrived, but except for that, I think of I have found my favorite area pizza spot. Also, the whole restaurant was impeccably clean which scored them more points! We will definitely be a regular customer.

Fantastic pizza. I’ve eaten pizza at most of the places in Leland, and Wheelz has taken the top post for now. We ordered a 14” cheese for delivery, and the website indicated that they were out of coke. The pizza was being delivered by the time I got back from Food Lion! That absolutely blew my mind because we placed the order at 6:55 pm. The crust was tasty and charred though a bit floppy. The cheese and sauce ratio was perfect. I’m going to have to try other toppings and styles.
Midnight update: straight out of the fridge, the pie was still tasty. A decent workout for the jaw, but well worth it. Also note the parchment paper and plastic lattice in the picture. These folks care that much about your pizza, and details like that really matter.

So I’m going four out of five because I had this ordered on DoorDash.. And I feel like I can’t hold it against the restaurant that I had it delivered to me. I would definitely be open to having it On location or picking up myself and trying it again fresh!
Me and my wife got a pepperoni and sausage to share. I like the burnt edges and the crust sauce with standard cheese with standard, but pepperoni and sausage seemed premium.
Kids enjoy the cheese pizza for the most part
Also, the cheesy breadsticks were a hit with my son. He gave me a thumbs up and powdered his chest as he devoured one right in front of me.

Pizza ordered was excellent. Supreme. Orders are always correct, hot and excellent. Wish they offered a few more menus items. I only ordered here if I just want a pizza. Do not want to got place multiple orders elsewhere. 5 stars for pizza. Thanks.

Not a fancy place, mostly hard surfaces, but the pizza is delish. Thin crust, made with sourdough which was undetectable to me as sourdough but gave the crust a something something. Sauce was great. Had the margherita and roni/sausage pies. No individual slices; either a 10″or 14″ pie. They also sell frozen raw pizzas, and will undercook their fresh peas if you ask so you can finish it fresh at home. Northeasterners, check it out!

Next time, we want to dine in and get it fresh from the oven for an even more spectacular experience. On a side note, we didn’t get to eat as soon as it came into the house so it wasn’t hot & we were so hungry we didn’t eat it up. It was still great.
The staff greeted me before I even reached the counter, welcomed me, and I shared it was our first time. He then explained that if you select a certain time, they wait until to you arrive to assure it’s the hottest it can be and there’s no waiting on a hearing source. It only takes a few minutes for it to come out piping hot.
Wish for the price the pizzas were a bit bigger (which is why I did 4 stars under food because there wasn’t a “value for the price option” and one small thing – slices could have been cut through better bc the crust doesn’t tear easily.
If you like NY pizza this is very good but a different twist with the sour dough flavor.

We ordered delivery and it was right on time and delicious. The driver may have worked a little too hard to get it to us on time. The toppings had slid to one side but no worries. Wheelz is really good pizza. The pepperoni is super tasty. We will order again and recommend it.
