Visited because they open early at 6 AM. I ordered a pork chop breakfast plate with potatoes, beans, and sunny-side-up eggs with ranchero sauce, plus another plate with beans, potatoes, and what was listed as chilaquiles. Flavors were generally good, but the potatoes were undercooked and had a taste of old oil. I had requested sunny-side-up eggs but forgot I prefer them over-medium. When I asked to have them fixed, they were returned seconds after the microwave beeped.. eggs were in same position, just slightly more cooked. The chilaquiles were more like scrambled eggs with tortilla pieces and pico. One coffee, one lemonade, and two plates came to $29. Given the quality and experience, I won’t be returning.

Stopped by for breakfast and had a couple bacon, egg & cheese tacos and a guisada taco. These were some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is cozy and homey feeling and the staff were amazing! Hi recommend and bring your appetite!

Friendly service. The dining area is small but homey. I’m picky about cheese and the cheese was good cheddar. Beans are tasty, our food came out quickly and the prices are fair. The carñe guisada was some of the best I’ve ever had; the sauce was flavorful and the meat was super tender. Will definitely be returning for more.

It has been a while since I have tasted real flavorful Mexican food. Very quaint, quiet, and a good place. I have tried many places, but this one is my new spot. I cannot believe how great the food tasted, and the staff is as friendly as the price. I had the Carne Guisada plate. Not an easy plate to mess up, but man was I surprised at the flavor. Reminds me of San Antonio back in the 80’s. I love it, and I hope you enjoy this place as much as I do.

What a super great find! I met a friend here for lunch while dodging the storm. I ordered puffy tacos and really enjoyed them along with my horchata! The best part of this place has to be Betty. She’s such a sweetheart. Super patient making recommendations and sharing a little about her story. I would definitely return. You can’t beat the price or service!
