Tried another place up the street and we never had a server check on us so we ended up here. There was 4 of us and everyone was VERY happy with our selection. Everything is fresh and and served piping hot. The owner/chef was great, explained how it was prepared. The menu selections where a little over whelming it was had to decide what we wanted. The best Chinese food I’ve had in the borderland. ********** 10 stares

This little hole-in-the-wall serves the best Chinese food you’ll find in El Paso. Philip, the owner/chef/cashier/waiter, clearly takes immense pride in his work, and it shows in every dish. Everything is made from scratch, and the food is authentic, bold, and full of flavor. These are exactly the kinds of local restaurants that deserve support over fast-food chains.

We had a delicious meal this evening 1/2/26 owner very informative and very accommodating. Made my meal not spicy and even went out of his way to make me crispy noodles to eat with my wonton soup. My 1st time having Chinese fried rice and it was so good. Our 1st time there and we enjoyed it, enjoyed our conversations too. Thank you for the lovely evening.

There are only a couple of times in your life you’re in the presence of someone who truly cares about their craft. To the way he describes the dishes, down to how he ensures that he warns you about the spicy level you’re about to take part in, and let me tell you it can get dangerous real fast Even then if you pick the wrong spicy level you’re still going to be overwhelmed with taste and freshness. He personally will not give a dish if it’s not fresh and to his standards and that is why he told us he won’t hire help. He wants to make sure everyone enjoys their food how it’s meant to be enjoyed, his way, the Phillip way. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The food was great. If you like spicy food I would recanend coming here. Start with spicy 2 out of 5 and work your way up to 5 when ordering.

Ordered take out. Owner/chef was very nice. I had the sweet and sour chicken with steamed rice and spring rolls. The sauce was delicious and I enjoyed the fresh peppers and onions. The chicken was a little tough but it tasted good. The spring rolls were delicious and perfectly cooked. I will return!

Got take out. Sesame chicken, mixed veggies, crab rangoons, egg drop soup.
Both plates were soupy. Crab rangoons were stale. Egg drop soup had an unusual taste. Everything just didn’t taste well at all.
This is my second time here & definitely not as impressed as the first.

Solid. Not great, but solid. Prices are reasonable. The workers are great. Food just didn’t blow our minds tonight. I did really appreciate the snack and candy shelves inside though. This is definitely a take out rather than an eat in joint just because it’s quite small inside.

Chili Hot Spice can be graduated to suit your palate. For sensitive mouths, ask to have the chili oil on the side so you can add as desired. My tolerance for spicy chili lowered a great deal after chemotherapy and radiation. Warning: Don’t ask for anything above a ”.7” if you are queasy. Adding spice level is easier than subtracting!
