employees were very distracted when taking my order, gave me all the wrong sizes and forgot a whole water ice. when i went back to ask they told me that a regular size is a “kids small”. terrible. i am so mad! Did not even ask me for clarification on my size then told me i was wrong.

We came here at 12:15 on a Saturday. Perfect weather, dry and sunny. When we first arrived there were no cars in the parking lot so I checked the hours to make sure they were open (they open at noon). We saw that the window at which to order was open. And then we stood there for five long minutes, hoping someone would appear to take our order. No one did, so we left and went to the Rita’s in conshohocken.
I don’t know if maybe somebody left the window open when they closed the night before? But, their hours said they were open (I guess the window being open counts?).

I have a serious pet peeve about small business owners not keeping to their published hours. It irks me beyond anything!

When I visited this location the line was off the patio and the team behind the counters seemed severely understaffed. But even at this disadvantage, the team was kind and apologetic about the wait (which was really not any more than what you would wait at a location twice the size with a full staff). The ice and custard are always great, but it is truly the team serving the product that makes this Rita’s a great place for a nice cool snack on a warm day.

It is very good as always but they are starting to price themselves out. $6.30 for a small swirl cone with jimmies is crazy. You can get two containers of Breyers ice cream on sale for $6, or most other brands.

This Rita’s is lovey! It has great seating and the treats super tasty. It also seems to have a large variety of custard flavors too if that’s your thing. Because I have been to a few Rita’s where there is only vanilla, chocolate, and both mixed. So the variety is appreciated
