Read reviews and despite i decided to give it a The menu sounds delicious but the food is, well, I won’t order again. The side of scallop potatoes came from a box, no season, the serving size was the size of my palm and 12.95 down the drain, the side of lobster Mac and cheese and no lobster in it and a flavorless spiral pasta dish. 23.00 and I fed it to my dog. He Better have enjoyed it. Save your money and go to Texas Road House.

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had in 50 years of dining. Went there for Valentines Day 2026. Only had one Pinot Noir out of a list of 10+. Only had 2 bourbons out of a long list. Only offered a certain menu. Ordered our meal. A second waitress came and asked to take our order. The original waitress came and said she had been assigned our table and there was obvious friction between the two waitresses. After 40 minutes we had not received our appetizers nor our salads. Our original waitress came by and asked to take our order. We told her that she had already taken our order a long time ago. We finally were able to communicate this to our waitress and she barely apologized and said our meals would be comped by the manager. We told her we would just pay for our wine and to bring us our check. She again said our meals would be comped. After 20 more minutes, she brought our main course, never got our salads or our appetizers. I told her that this was unacceptable and asked to talk to the manager. During this time 4 parties left before getting anything. The manager never came. The waitress disappeared. We ate our main course thinking it was comped. While we were eating she brought our appetizers in a carry out and said she would box up our salads. Never brought our salads. When we finished, she brought us a bill and said they comped us for one meal but it was extremely high in respect that it was supposed to be comped. My wife searched and found the manager who was extremely rude and said “you ate it didn’t you” and my wife said because we were told it was comped. Never an apology. How in the world is this place still in business? Never again! I would give them zero stars if it was available.

I’ve never left a bad review for somewhere, but I couldn’t hold back here. Do not go here. We just went for their “Valentine’s Day menu” which offered an appetizer, entrée, and chocolate ganache dessert. The cost was $89 per person yet comparing their standard menu items prices. they are totally ripping off people. When you added up everything you got versus their menu you’re paying roughly an extra $30! The “appetizer “isn’t even the standard size of their regular menu apps and their sides were horrible. The chocolate cake was a tiny little sliver that was cold and didn’t come with the same fruit that was on the menu. One of our entrées also didn’t come with the sides that said was with it on the menu. The only thing that was good was the filet, which cost an extra $10 on the Valentine’s Day menu versus if you ordered it off their standard menu. To top it all off, we sat at a wobbly table with very amateur service, our table was dirty, we never got our waters refilled, and we were barely checked on. For them to come across as a fine dining steakhouse is absolutely crazy. Now that I’m looking online and see all the other reviews, I wish I had looked ahead of time.

Valentines night we waited for 45 minutes past our reservation time. It was another 45 before we got our first bite of food. I had the oysters and they were the smallest ive ever had at a restaurant. The salad was fine, the steak had a good taste but wasn’t cooked correctly but by that time I would have eaten the menu. I was starving! The deserts were cheesecake and the portion was horrific. It was a 3 course meal with a dessert off a set menu for 80.00 per person. Never again, needless to say it was a Valentines to remember but not in a good way!

Overpriced and underwhelming.
Let me start by saying the atmosphere is great. This place has a lot of potential, especially given its location. The restaurant is very clean and well kept—no complaints there. Service was also solid overall. We were seated quickly despite the size of our party, and our server was informative and prompt with taking our order.
That said, the dining experience itself was disappointing.
Finished plates sat in front of me far too long, and empty glasses of sweet tea accumulated before being cleared. I started with the shrimp cocktail, which had noticeable browning and a presentation comparable to a casual chain restaurant. It wasn’t ice cold and felt closer to room temperature—acceptable at best, but not what I’d expect at this price point.
I ordered a salad expecting it before my steak, but it arrived after the steak had already been served. Because the table hadn’t been cleared, I had to use the space in front of my son just to set the salad down. Fortunately, he decided he wasn’t hungry, so the space was available.
My steak was overcooked, very thinly cut, and had a large fatty portion. While the flavor was decent, the execution missed the mark. My wife’s filet came out overcooked, was sent back, and then returned undercooked. She didn’t finish it. The mac and cheese had an odd, off-putting taste. The salad itself was served on a warm plate—likely straight from the dishwasher—which caused the lettuce to wilt and left the salad watery.
In short, this is not the type of experience I would expect when spending well over $200 for two people. I wasn’t expecting Eddie V’s, but I did expect better than Logan’s. Very disappointing overall.
I would not return unless management holds the kitchen accountable and significantly improves both food quality and presentation.

I should have read the reviews….
My husband and I had been wanting to go to Ludlow & Prime for a while, and since it’s pricey, we waited for a special occasion. We made reservations weeks ago and finally went this past weekend to celebrate our joint birthday — and the entire experience felt strange. Our waitress was a sweetheart, but everything else was just bizarre.
We each ordered an alcoholic beverage, and it took an incredibly long time to get them. There were only two people sitting at the bar, so I’m not sure why the bartender was so slow.
We ordered the Monkey Bread as a starter. It was delicious, but the portion size was tiny. Imagine a basic dinner roll — the kind restaurants give you a basket of for free — cut into quarters. That’s the portion size of the Monkey Bread.
I ordered a Caesar salad and the hamburger with truffle fries. My husband ordered a medium‑well steak and a side.
My Caesar salad was very basic — nothing special.
My hamburger is an entirely different story. First impression: fast food. The burger looked sad. It was maybe 1.5 inches high, and the patty itself was thin. A burger at a steakhouse should be substantial; this looked like it had been smashed. When I took my first bite, all I tasted was salt. So much salt. I took another bite — just as bad. I usually don’t get pickles on my burger, so I wondered if the saltiness came from that. I took a third bite, and it was still overwhelmingly salty. My husband puts salt on everything, so I told him he could have the rest. Even he thought it was too salty. I have no idea what happened when they made my burger, but it was awful. Thankfully, the truffle fries were good because I was pretty hungry.
Now let’s talk about my husband’s “medium‑well” steak. It was served on a large plate with nothing else — just a chunk of meat. When he cut into it, it bled. It was definitely cooked to medium‑rare at best. It felt like the cooks really didn’t care. How does a , “steakhouse” mess up a steak so badly?
My husband ordered another drink during our meal, and it took even longer than the first one.
The quality of the food does not match the prices they charge. The atmosphere feels very off. I definitely would not recommend this place. Save your money. We’re out $200 for a birthday dinner we were so excited about. To top it off, we both ended up sick for the following 36 hours.
The GM need to reach out to each of the negative reviews and making things right. A lot of people deserve their money back — not a gift card to come back, but their actual money that they saved and spent there.
I was once told that if you go to a restaurant and the exterior signs are damaged (letters not lit so you can’t read the name), the interior is probably not well taken care of either.
I should have taken that advice and/or read the reviews.

Cannot comment about the food as we never were seated with a confirmed reservation. Total chaos. Waited 25 minutes to get to the “hostess” only to be told it would be another 45 minute wait. The “manager” was no where to be found, the majority of us left with 2 couples leaving just after being seated. They were told by staff that it was a limited menu AND they were out of some of the “limited” menu foods. I should have realized a high end steak place that has lights out on their exterior must not really care.

We have gone for dinner six times since it opened, really wanting this place to be great. We have experienced moments of promise. But my wife has ordered, and recommended to our guests the shrimp and grits four times. The first time it was spectacular. The second time, the grits were old, dry and inedible. She politely told the waiter that the dish is so delicious, but to look at the grits. He seemed to acknowledge and then walk away, saying and doing nothing. We thought it odd, but moved on. Tonight, she and her dad ordered the dish. When delivered to the table, hers was wildly over-spiced and was even a darker color (see pic). She told the waitress, who went to the kitchen to ask about it and came back saying the two dishes were made in the same pan. We were stunned, because they clearly looked and tasted very different. The waitress offered to make her something else. She said she would really just like her choice done right… And the waitress left. I went to the front to ask if the chef would visit and tell us these two dishes were the same and were told he wasn’t in (on Friday at 6 pm). We were not difficult and tried to encourage them to simply discuss and make it right. But the rest of the night, the initially friendly waitress just came by to fill waters and mainly gave us the silent treatment. Later, the manager came by to offer us dessert. It was surprising in that he was the person at the host stand when I asked to speak with the chef and never offered that he was the manager. For what it’s worth, my mother-in-law said her salmon was among the best she’s ever had. This place has potential. But the food is wildly inconsistent and the staff doesn’t seem to know how to handle making it right for the guests.

Worst dining experience in every category. Service was extremely poor. Waited 15 minutes for someone to greet our table and take our drink order. Several staff passed our table and did not even smile or acknowledge us. I spoke up and asked if a server was assigned to our table. Finally, someone approached us just as we were about to leave. I wish we had done so. The cowboy nachos were served on stale chips- maybe 5 small pieces of brisket on the nachos. The jumbo shrimp cocktail was regular to small size shrimp I can get at publix. We ordered caesar salads. Mine with chicken that was not edible. I believe it was out of date or spoiled. Disgusting flavor. My husband ordered salmon. The prices here are high- the food quality, service, and execution were low. Will not be back.

Waited until we’ve had a number of visits over the last few months to write a review, in the hopes this would improve. It hasn’t. Constantly out of menu items. And now they’ve launched a brunch and today the two signature items on the menu are not available. Last night we were charged different (higher) prices than the menu stated on 3 things we ordered. Staff is constantly apologizing. Consistency hasn’t been established yet. We’re done until we hear better things. Lots of untapped potential at this point.
