I come here every time I’m in town. I’ve tried probably 10 – 15 things and they’re all fantastic. Staff is friendly and service is great. Great small business that needs more support. Also make sure to use the condiment bar to mix up a great hot sauce! I always recommend this place to people when they pass through Hastings.

Went there on 4/15 and was thoroughly dissatisfied and disappointed. My girlfriend and I ordered two medium margaritas that felt like they contained no alcohol and had a strong syrupy taste. The chips for our salsa and queso were over cooked and stale. I ordered one chicken taco and that too disappointed me. The portion was surprising large (and I enjoyed that), but the chicken was very dry and lacked flavor. The waitress visited our table 4 times and out of those, she was on the phone for 2 of them. We won’t be returning, but try it for yourself because you may have a different opinion.

Great food at a great price! It was my 1st time visiting this place but it came highly recommended from locals. I had the stake quesadilla and my husband had the green chili enchilada. Both of them were amazing and the service was great. Will plan to visit again!

The food was good, the portions were generous and the complimentary chips and salsa hit the spot. However, it wasnt a great experience. Passing through town on business, we stopped for dinner around 7:00 PM on a Tuesday evening. Even though their website said business hours were until 9:00 PM and the neon open sign was glowing, it felt as if the one staff member we encountered was surprised by our presence. We asked for one of their cute private booths, but were told they wanted to close that area down for the night. We ordered queso for our chips, but it was never served. We inquired a few times during our entrees, but new excuses kept being offered – a new batch needed to be made, chef got sidetracked and finally, broken blender. Maybe they dont usually get any business that late on weeknights.

Waited for 20 minutes after being seated without being brought water or being served in anyway when only TWO other tables were taken in the restaurant. Both of the other tables were getting steady service. I had to track down the server, interrupt him laughing and joking with another worker, and ask him if I would be served anytime soon. He said they’ve been really busy… right after I caught him leaning against the wall laughing with another worker…

If I could, I would give it a zero. Food is ok. Terrible service. Takes extended time to get food and drinks, even when the restaurant is empty. I have gone there twice with the same outcome. No compensation or appologies from staff when they knew I was disappointed. Will never go there again. Would never advise anyone to eat at this place. There are much better Mexican restaurants in Hastings with superb service and food.

The enchiladas are okay, but they pile on sour cream and cheese. The amount of sour cream and cheese used takes away from the flavor of the salsa verde and enchiladas. I pushed it to the side. And they don’t make a Cadillac Margarita. Friendly staff, below average food.
