The ribs were very good, tender with good smoke flavor. The brisket was fair to good with good flavor however it was shredded and I prefer sliced. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly. The inside was clean and well taken care of. When going through this area I would go again.

Great service, great food! Went for lunch and was very happy with the visit. We were seated right away and food came out quickly. Staff was attentive but didn’t smother you, either. Will definitely be back.

They serve canned vegetables warmed up in a microwave without any seasoning. Sometimes the fries are passable but more often than not are soggy. Meats are of good quality but not cooked with the respect they’re due. Interminable delay for your food to arrive with no waitstaff checking in or even acknowledging the slow kitchen. The kitchen seems to be slow regardless of how busy they are. Mixed drinks arrive from the bar with a “palate cleanser,” which is Bud Light in a shot glass. Typos in the menu and history of the restaurant.
We live in town and have given this place several tries over the years. We’ve found it best just to go elsewhere. We gave up seeing if they could get their act together.

Great Service, Great food. What else can you say.
The barbecue is excellent. Ribs are served naked and three great bbq sauces are available from sweet to hot. Steaks are cooked to order just the way you like them. Must have the corn bread muffin, sweet and fluffy full of down home flavor. Not a bad item on the menu!

Was in town working the gun show and found this place just driving around looking at what was available for chow in town. Was extremely glad we did. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection. The brownie for desert was huge. Service was fantastic. Will have to come here again.

Heavys was VERY good. it was clean and the service was quick and accurate. My wife had the popcorn shrimp and enjoyed it and she is hard to please. I had the honey pineapple ribs and they were fall off the bone done and tender. Juicy and not over seasoned. The place was full on a Sunday evening and lively but not noisy. No blasted blasting music. If we are ever in concordia again, that is where we are eating. !

Here for my sisters graduation ceremony with my family. The place was packed and the wait staff were very courteous and very fast (considering how packed they were). The food was splendid as well. I tasted my daughters child’s plate and my Cobb salad. Yum! 🙂

Food tastes okay, but the portion size doesn’t match price. Everyone left hungry and stopped at Sonic after leaving. Kids menu is more for 6yrs and young. Very small slider and literally a handful of French fries.

Living in Concordia, I frequent Heavy’s for food or just a drink. I use to love there pulled pork and brisket, but it seems like more often than not these days, the pork is swimming in grease, and the brisket is bone dry.
They have a good steaks and chicken dishes, but I’ve never been too impressed with their ribs. They have a pretty wide variety from appetizers to dessert. All and all, a decent place to grab some grub, but I wouldn’t go in expecting to be amazed.

Food was prepared exactly as I ordered it. I am gluten free and just had braces put on my teeth so had a number of changes made my meal. They were very helpful with it all! And the food was delicious!
