I placed my order and paid online. The food was ready at the advised time. The food was delicious.The portions were large and it was very reasonably priced.I highly recommend Frnds House! We ordered all three types of chicken: spicy, teriyaki, and buffalo. All three were great! The salad dressing was very tasty as well as the spicy mayo dip. The macaroni salad was also really good.

These were the plates from frnds house in downtown Merced! My cousin and I came here on a Saturday, and there were a pretty good amount of customers here! For me, I got the plate with half super teriyaki and half buffalo, and I feel like both proteins were very good! The chicken was nicely charred, and it was pretty soft and tender! A very unique and nice texture! ❤️ My cousin got half buffalo and half spicy! Overall, I think this food was pretty delicious, and it was really nice for Merced to have something like this! I think the macaroni salad was pretty good, even though it is a little bit different than Ono Hawaiian BBQ’s. I would feel like this one is not as buttery, and they had a slightlyyyyy more tart taste but it was still good! I also think the salad was nice too, and it tasted great especially with the sauce they gave me! My total came up to $26.98, so each plate was about $13.49! I honestly would come here again!

The food is amazing. I had 1/2 teriyaki and 1/2 super spicy. Both were great. The macaroni salad is on point and the salad dressing had a good flavor. Service was super quick and the staff was nice.

I almost never leave reviews on places, but I had to for this one. I am blown away. Fantastic! I definitely found a new spot for weekly lunch. They have figured out you don’t have to offer a lot of items on the menu, but you do have to cook them well. And they absolutely cook/prepare everything to perfection!

Kept hearing good things about this place so husband and I decided to go and we were pleasantly surprised. I had the teriyaki and husband had half regular half spicy and we cleaned our plates. Highly recommend you give it a try and l promise it will be a new favorite.

The chicken is incredibly tender, flavorful, and juicy. They have perfected their teriyaki sauce and their salad dressing is outstanding. The macaroni salad is a delightful side. The only minor flaw is the rice; it was a little too soft and sticky.
Overall, this meal was absolutely delicious, and I’ll definitely be back for more!

Best Teriyaki and Spicy Chicken hands down!! That being said, Friends House is like a friend’s house – you get to eat when they say. Couple of times now have seen people waiting for food they ordered and expected it to be done already. It is worth the wait – just don’t plan to eat here on a tight schedule! Plan to hang out with Friends!

Very mid. Only 1 protein option. No vegan substitute. Small portions. Mac salad bland. Small piece of chicken and way too much rice. Not terrible but nothing special. Still waiting for a Real Hawaiian BBQ place

Went in waited over 30 mins all customer that came after me got all their orders i go up to the counter asked how much longer the man asked for my name assuming i placed an online order but i told him i paid inside and that i have been waiting for a long time and literally about 4-5 customer after me got their food he just apologized and i waited a bit longer for my food. i feel like they only focus on online didnt even bother with the customers who pays inside the place like that’s so rude
