AMERICAN OWNED, Gabby’s Diner is located in the old Wow Building. There is not connection to the previous business as it has new owners. NOTE: Reviews before 8/2022 are from the previous owner. Menu pictures are also not ours, unless after that date. We apologize for the confusion, however we cannot get goggle to change the settings at this time.

We needed a place to stop for refreshments and then decided to eat here since the place looked super cool! This is a no frills, nostalgic diner with superb service. Our kiddos were fussy from being in the car so our waitress came over to give us crackers and snacks while we waited for food. They were super attentive and friendly to us as a family, it was such a refreshing stop. I would recommend the fried chicken basket and chocolate malt shake. The rice bowl wasn’t bad but I preferred the chicken basket. Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!

What a charming little place! Not a place of you are in a big hurry (we were not). One waitress and one cook but everything exactly as we ordered. Yummy “chips” aka sliced potatoes fried. Nothing pre-cooked so very fresh. I have the rice bowl with steak and five choice veggies lightly salted in oil. My option was light but son had the smash burger!

The burgers here were very tasty! All 4 people in our party had some variety of a burger. The restaurant made chips were also yummy. Our waitress did a good job.
The diner is supposed to look Retro, but unfortunately it looks old, tired, and not well maintained. There seemed to be only the 1 young lady to seat customers, take orders, deliver food, and check you out. We never saw anyone else, but assume there was a cook too. Neither men’s nor women’s restroom had toilet paper, but when we reported it, the lady took care of it promptly.
The prices were very reasonable as the food was tasty. If a tasty burger is what you’re after and atmosphere doesn’t matter, this is the place for you.

Our family had such a wonderful family day up in the Zuni mountains right by Grants New Mexico. We decided to stop at Gabby’s. It’s like an old-time diner. It was a wonderful atmosphere, and we had a blast in that diner. We had such a lovely waitress. Her name was Jocelyn. She was so cute, sweet, and gave great service. They were short staffed in the restaurant, and she was the only waitress. She was delightful. We were all happy with our meals. The chicken fried steak is so tender and easy to chew and very delicious along with their gravy and mashed potatoes. I will have to say that those were the worst green beans that we’ve ever had. Those green beans need to be improved upon. You get your choice of either corn on the cob or green beans. I wish we chose the corn on the cob. The french fries were crispy. We actually ordered them crispy. The green chili cheeseburger was really good, and so was the philly. We also got fried pickles for the appetizer, and they were good. We recommend this lovely diner, and we will return if we are in Grants.

We stopped by once again and the menu has changed as I believe maybe ownership has changed, but they still offer amazing food! I had a chicken and veggie bowl and husband had steak snd chicken. Both were fantastic. I absolutely love that place.

The food and service was amazing i brought my husband for a late birthday meal and we are definitely going to be coming back. I highly recommend stopping in when they’re open and grabbing some food. Totally worth every penny the meat practically melts on your tongue, everything was cooked amazingly and nothing was dry or over cooked. we found our ne favorite place for dates and are loving it.

Great experience here. Every employee we encountered was super friendly and efficient. As we were leaving NM for back home, we decided on the shredded beef and chicken burritos with Christmas sauce. Super filling, generous portions, and delicious. Cheap too. Added a pink donut, for good measure. On the way out the owner stopped by our table to thank us for coming in and asked where we were headed and to be careful on the road. Really nice. We’ll be back!
