It was my birthday as well as a racing day. After a long day at the track (yes we race) I wanted Godfather’s. So we went. Pizza was excellent and the guy behind the counter sang me the boy scout version of Happy Birthday. Was awesome! ! Highly recommend this place. It was empty at 9:30 p.m. but not because the food or service lacked. It was a Saturday night.

Service was outstanding! When we first got there, we had smiling faces waiting for us and ready to take our order. A few may have been in training, and their trainer was right their to help if needed.
Atmosphere was needing some updates. It was a very clean and organized establishment. But needed some updates with paint and ceiling looked like it a few water stains.
Overall, we will definitely be back!!

The place could use some updates to the guest area but the pizza was perfect. The service was prompt and courteous. I even feel the prices have increased much less than inflation in other dine out establishments.

Obviously Godfathers Pizza itself is amazing. This location is great because it never seems too busy. I went here on Friday at 6:30pm and there was ample parking and seating. It took 16 minutes from when I ordered pizza until I started eating pizza. If I went to Roadhouse instead, I would have still had another 79 minutes left to go until they would have seated us. Godfathers is a great value. It’s one of my top picks in the Cedar Valley.

The pizza is and always has been the best in the Cedar Valley. Toppings piled on and cooked to perfection. The only drawback to this location is that the building itself has been neglected. Seats are torn and have lost their spring. The ceiling is literally falling down in three foot chunks at a time. The carpet hasn’t been replaced in the last 20 years, but hey they got a new soda machine!

We came in here to get a jumbo taco pizza. I had just called right before I showed up to get it. I saw this lady who turned out to be the manager taking the trash out and touched the trash can outside. Then right after that she walked inside and went straight to making my pizza without washing her hands. Grabbing containers of food and setting them on the cutting board. She got pretty upset when I asked her if she washed her hands and she stuttered and got defensive. I cancelled our pizza and left. Her shirt and pants were covered in food that I could tell hadn’t been there from today. There is no standards for hygiene here which is upsetting because I came here every week with my grandpa for years. Will never be coming back! $28 a week in a jumbo taco pizza times 52 weeks a year that is $1,456 a year you just lost. So sad but I guess we have to forget about godfathers forever.

Dan, the Store Manager is from Cascade, IA, a small farm community. Dan, however, who makes friends with anyone from any area of the country, even New York. Dan always maintains his professionalism at all times, always acting as a leader. Dan’s pizza store looks like a museum every single dau. Further, Dan trains young people, as if they were his own children, to start from the bottom and move to the top. Dan is literally the blueprint for success within Godfather’s pizza.

Ordered meat lovers pizza and garlic bread to be delivered. Approximately 2 miles from diner. Pizza was very good, garlic bread was basic. We did wait over an hour for delivery.

Pizza middle in the middle was soggy, wings were perfect, and soda was more carbonated water than soda. I will NEVER eat the salad bar, possibly not eat at this restaurant again…. The person closing the salad bar was just emptying the food back into the fresh product containers…cross contaminating everything. You don’t dump food from a salad bar into fresh stuff. You add fresh stuff to it the next day, in a clean container.
