Good food and great service. I wish they’d give more fries with a meal though. And it looks like Long John’s has decreased the size of their fish filets. I love that they have root beer and ice cream and can blend them together. UPDATE: service is better than ever. The small fish filet may have been a fluke. (Not actual fluke, of course. Probably cod.) The size seemed okay on this latest visit.

A quick stop during a LONG day of driving. I couldn’t decide where to stop, and saw the A&W/Long John Silvers. I had a positive memory of another one I had visited, and pulled in.
Fish, cheese curds, extra hush puppies, and an A&W root beer freeze (root beer and ice cream mixed like a shake). This really hit the spot. The workers were friendly, the food was fast food, but perfectly prepared.
To be fair, we were exhausted and famished, but still, it was the perfect stop, and everything tasted so good to us.

We are traveling from Texas to West Virginia and this is sort of on the back way home and we were so excited didn’t know if it was still in business there it was we had Long John silver’s and definitely a&w root beer to drink and everybody was super nice and the food was amazing so hard to find Long John silver this is definitely a great one

Not real clean like it used to be. Young guy that waited on me was almost to the point of being rude when I asked for a glass mug. In the wrong profession. Food was still good. Need to bring back the footlong coney.

Rootbeer float was amazing! Burgers are VERY thin, but ingredients were fresh. The dining room needs a thorough cleaning. The bathrooms looked as if they hadn’t been swept, let alone mopped in several weeks!

I’ve always ate here for years but this visit was horrible. The tables were ALL dirty. So I ended up having to clean my own table before we could sit down to eat. And there was only 2 other tables of people there. So it wasn’t like rush hour or something. Then when our food came the fish and chicken both were dry and one piece of chicken was too hard to even bite through. The whole meal was just gross. I would have rated this place a 5 every other visit I’ve ever been there but last weekend I am not sure what happened but I won’t be stopping there to eat anytime in the near future.

This was the worst experience in my entire life! I walk in and the place stank of rotting fish and every seat was worn and tore up. I order my food and go to get my drink, I wanted Dr pepper and the machine didn’t work when I clicked It, so I went with water instead but when I went for the water it was literally pink. Before I could even sit down the food was ready which is normally a good thing but the food was cold and and dry like it had been made a whole hour ago. We ate what we could and we left but I literally had to stop at dairy queen on the way back because I felt so sick and needed a restroom. Needless to say I’ll never eat here again or my family and if you read this please DON’T EAT HERE!!!

We love having the opportunity to try something different than the same old fast food restaurant hamburgers everywhere else. The a&w burgers are delicious with fresh lettuce, tomato and onions. We love the cheese curds too. The workers have always been friendly.
