On a recent trip to Door County, Wisconsin we stopped by Lautenbach’s Orchard, and in the parking lot by the vineyard we spotted the 888 Cheese & Co truck. The young man there was super kind and helpful, and shared his descriptions of their sandwiches. Look at the menu image for all their choices.
We chose a classic, with superb local cheeses on perfect Italian slices, and then the PB Juan which not only has local superb cheeses, but adds maple pepper bacon, fresh jalapeños, Lautenbach’s amazing chopped cherry jam, all those mouth-watering flavors perfectly fused on delicious toasted Italian bread! Surely this sandwich has won some type of award.
The team at Lautenbach’s told us all the choices at 888 are great including the soups.
If you are in Door County hitting the best vineyards and stores like Lautenbach’s, don’t miss this small black trailer out by the vines and the barn. Great young man and great food.

They serve the best grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato bisque that I have ever tasted! We had the Mac Daddy grilled cheese and the Orchard Harvest grilled cheese. Both were so innovative and super delicious.

Loveeee the food here. I’ve had the goat cheese and mac grilled cheese and they’re both so so good. Also tried the tomato bisque and it was the perfect compliment to the grilled cheeses. The gentleman who owns the truck is also very lovely!

Seriously the best grilled cheese I have ever had. I was a little bit apprehensive when I saw it was a food truck, but I absolutely love the food. We also got the tomato bisque, which was also really tasty.

Just traveling down the road and stumbled across this at the winery/orchard. Stopped in for sone cherry items and wanted a quick snack, so we opted for here. Got the mac daddy sandwich..and let me tell you, absolutely delicious. It was huge, im glad I had it to share with someone. It was so creamy but also so buttery and crispy. Highly recommend if you’re by.

Great food and high quality. Good kids menu and variety for adults. Seating at the orchard was great too! They even opened the barn for extra seating when it’s windy or chilly.

if you didn’t try their food do yourself a favor and try it,it’s simply amazing -everything we tried was delicious ,full of flavor and fresh,my absolute favorite is the Lithuanian fried bread with homemade garlic sauce,If I can eat that with every meal I would! the staff was very friendly and professional.great addition to Door County food scenery, wil definetly go back .
