In any other city Los Compadres would arguably be average but in this town they’re certainly a welcomed & unique addition. The food and service are very good. They do have a patio area but recently they haven’t been using it. Not sure if perhaps the city is preventing them from doing so or why but would be nice if they open that up again at some point.

After a long day of travel, we went to this restaurant, close to our hotel. Nothing fancy inside, but we had a few beers. The waiter brought chips and 2 sauces, normal red but a white sauce he said he makes himself. This was excellent. We ordered and had a wonderful meal. And all is so reasonably priced. If we ever pass thru Stony Creek again, we will be there. I recommend

Took my wife here on a lunch date. Staff, food and atmosphere was great! We were even greeted at the door by who I think was the owner or manager. Awesome people!

For a Mexican restaurant in the middle of nowhere it’s pretty dang good. They don’t go overboard with the cheese like many do. The food was fast and pretty good, especially for the price! You will not be disappointed!
My latest adventure to Los Compadres found me ordering the Mole Pablanos. Dang that’s good food right there! Highly recommended!

Nothing short of AMAZING! For two of us we spent $54.00 for for two massive meals, a 32 oz margarita and an 18 oz glass of sangria.
The service made the meal even better the wait was very short and the waiter was on point.

Big portions of food but average, nothing interesting. I think the people that live around here enjoy it since they don’t have much in the area. Server was a bit absent mentally.

Very good food, service, and atmosphere. I had the burrito San Jose and a tamale which were both excellent. The tamale was served with a sauce and cheese on top, and while I normally prefer my tamales without sauce, they were a nice complement. Everything was flavorful and despite the wait, service was prompt and friendly.

The food is usually good, the service is no Habla Inglés. The atmosphere is freezing there’s one split unit and I’m not sure it works and neither of the 2 doors leading into the restaurant close correctly. So when it’s 32 degrees outside it’s close to that inside.
The employees wear coats as well as the customers.
I suggest checking it out in the spring.

Reminds me of Costa Rica all ingredients are fresh homemade. Had the shrimp tacos and chicken tortilla soup. Salsa was good and all other condiments were spicy and unique. Did not know what to expect but was impressed. Will come back and bring others.

Absolutely the best steak I ever had at a Mexican restaurant and the best mashed potatoes they were so creamy and smooth. The drinks are huge.
And the service is impeccable.
