rest in peace to the cow that had to suffer just for the santa fe texas roadhouse cooks to absolutely butcher this piece of meat because they do not know how to cook steaks to the proper temp. i ordered a 6 oz sirloin MEDIUM, and for the cooks here who clearly don’t know what that is, that means warm PINK center. and what did i get? the most dry, charred, well done steak i’ve ever received. and the salad? BROWN LETTUCE. as brown as the scorched piece of disgrace i was served. management needs to do better with their training. and not to mention the previous times i have been to this location i’ve only ever experienced snobby servers who rarely check on my table. and what do i do? i still tip well over 20% because i also work in the food industry and i know what it’s like to be under high stress and expectations from management. but this is just unacceptable. i will stick with the texas roadhouse locations in albuquerque because they actually train their employees to cook meat to proper temp and deliver excellent customer service with a positive attitude. what a shame.

Came in this evening, on Valentines. I witnessed multiple people upset with front of house staff because of the wait, the wait wasn’t even that bad & very acceptable based on the holiday. The front of the house staff were all friendly, empathetic & answered questions from frustrated customers without escalation. Our wait was exactly as long as it stated online, we were greeted with such friendly staff even though it was busy. Our server, Raul, who has been our server before was just as fantastic & attentive on this busy evening as he was on a slow weekday dinner! Our drinks never got empty, we were checked in on with efficient timing & Raul was friendly, you’d never know how busy he was based on our service. Good food, outstanding service & fully staffed with friendly faces. 🙂 I also loved the personal touches that staff had Valentines hair & accessories!!

We had a very good experience overall at Texas Roadhouse. We ordered the cactus blossom, the Texas filet with house salad and mac & cheese, and the ribs with the same sides. The food was good all around. The house salad was a little heavy on egg and cheese, but the steak was excellent—cooked perfectly to medium. We were genuinely impressed by the quality of the steak for a chain restaurant.
I also ordered a house margarita, which unfortunately was far too sweet—honestly, I’ve had canned margaritas that were better. I sent it back, and the staff handled it graciously.
The only downside was our seating. We were placed in the booth right next to the kitchen, which meant having “Out!” shouted directly into my ear more than once—it was jarring, and I’d definitely request a different spot next time.
All in all, the meal itself was very good, and we’ll be back again.

New York steak at medium rare was amazingly good as my first time visiting a Texas Roadhouse. The sides feel like a side, nothing special about them.
Amber was a personable and friendly waitress that made the experience fun and engaging!
I will say the noise level of the restaurant was more of a bar scene where you would definitely need to project your voice if you wanted to have clear communication with your party.
Would go back, but would ask if they had outdoor seating to mitigate some of the noise.

First time here, and everything was really good! I’ve been wanting prime rib for quite awhile, and it hit the spot! The whole atmosphere was happy! Our server was pretty good at her job! Efficient without rushing, asked the right questions, and did that important check back! Even when delivering our food, was questioning the temp of a ribeye, it was a little over, but they made it right! The manager was at the table right away! I was a server for many years, and I can tell this restaurant is managed very well! You can tell from the time you enter till you leave. It was very busy, but was evenly handled. Nothing felt rushed or chaotic. Really enjoyed our experience and the food!!

Really bad. Like, really really really bad. Unlike many Santa Feans, I am not completely opposed to chain restaurants. They have their time and place. Sometimes you just want something that is reliably pretty good every time you order it. That was my highest hope for Texas Roadhouse and they did not even deliver close to that mediocre standard. The wait was not only long, but extremely disorganized. Our server was nice enough. But, her knowledge of the menu was lacking. Are there onions on the salad? I don’t know. What beers do you have on tap? I don’t know. Then the food came. We were a party of 6. The best I can say is that the food was edible. No part of it was tasty. NO PART. We all ordered different dishes and not a single one was good. Our bill with tip was about $200. Never again, Texas Roadhouse. I’m sure they’ll stay in business for years to come simply because their prices are low and they’re on Cerrillos near I-25. Lots of out-of-towners on their way out of Santa Fe will stop here. Lots of working class people will go here for birthdays, etc. They’ll stay in business for the same reasons Red Lobster on Rodeo Rd is still in business.

I had the steak medallions on a bed of rice, with a baked potato with butter and sour cream, and a house salad with 1000 island dressing. The free rolls are yummy, but don’t fall for them. Leave room for the meal. The medallions were tender and flavorful. The baked potato was cooked to perfection! The salad is always a winner, if you like 1000 island dressing theirs is delicious!

Texas Roadhouse was pretty decent. I had the ribs and they were alright. I mean very grateful to eat there however, I’ve had better. There was football there which was great and the service was excellent! The appetizers were really good but the ribs didn’t do it for me. I would still come here again but probably something different. Also we brought my grandpappy and he was in a wheelchair but they accommodated him as excellent as you could want.

Despite it being a busy Sunday night, we had a wonderful experience from check in to closing out our check. Our server, Xochi truly made this experience amazing for us. From providing us recommendations to what to order to consistently checking in on us, she made sure we were well taken care of. Before we could even ask she was refiling our drinks and brining us fresh bread. Her warm personality made us feel like we were just enjoying a meal with family. We throughly enjoyed the cactus blossom, 2 6 oz sirloin dinners, the country fried chicken and chicken critters. A big thank you to the kitchen for how fast they prepared our delicious food and had it coming out hot and ready! As well to the great food runners and table cleaners, everyone worked so fast to make a long day in Santa Fe so relaxing.

Great place to get a really good steak at a affordable price. Don’t miss out on the all day $5 dollar margaritas also. Had the 8 oz sirloin with green chile on top it was delicious.
