Had a great first time experience! It’s so nice to have variety of restaurants in the area, and a southern one was overdue! The menu is small but features a good selection of classic Southern dishes with some unique seasonal options. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. The Tempura Calamari was perfectly crispy and very well seasoned, and a sizeable portion. The chicken and dumplings was slightly different than expected, but a nice surprise nonetheless and the perfect dish for a fall day. I’ll definitely return to try out a few more options.

Was recommended this place by a coworker and was not disappointed! The staff were very nice and the food was excellent. Even though it was a small menu they had a nice mix of options for everyone. The fried green tomatoes and the ribeye were delicious! My steak was cooked perfectly:D

My husband and I had the most amazing meal at Suecats. The service was amazing and they went above and beyond with every detail. The crab cake dinner and Jambalaya was delicious. Please visit this amazing place.

We had an opportunity to eat here for Mother’s Day. It was with a large group (which I hate doing that to a restaurant & chef). Suecat’s handled us perfectly. They had a Mother’s Day menu with a few specials. We had the Deviled Eggs to start. We ended up ordering more because they were sooo good. I had the Salmon Oscar, FANTASTIC. Some of the kids had a Nutella French Toast and raved about it. The staff were friendly, accommodating and patient. The owner’s father and chef checked on us as well. I’m counting the days when we can go back asasmaller group to try the regular menu. It’s a hidden gem for sure.

I’m getting ready to leave Berryville ( ) and wanted to have a break in packing and a special very late lunch with my mother in law.
Chef Tyler was kind enough to come out to our table to talk with me about my allergy to mammal meat and make sure I would be safe. The roasted veggie Benny was scrumptious. Silky rich Hollandaise, perfectly poached egg, and just for kicks, served on a fresh biscuit (we could have had English muffins, but this was fantastic!) The veggies were sweetened and caramelized, but retained their fresh crunch, and the side taters were perfectly seasoned. I also enjoyed the house mixed hot sauce, because I love heat.

Along the charming main street through Berryville, VA, is an outstanding eating place, Sue Cat’s Bistro. Chef Tyler creates hearty dishes, from pure Maryland lump crab cakes to the best locally sourced chicken, bacon, and ham sandwich I’ve ever experienced. His locally sourced burgers are exceptional. And, his tomato bisque is both a meal in itself and outstanding.

Overall a great dining experience. Very relaxed atmosphere. Most importantly the food was delicious and the presentation outstanding. Our waitperson Darlene was friendly and helpful as she knew the wines and menu. The menu will provide about a half dozen entree options. That’s just fine as they do every item so well. Just what you would expect from a neighborhood bistro.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and was such a good choice.
Everything we ordered was very good (fried green tomatoes, pastrami sandwich and veggie gnocchi). The ingredients tasted very fresh. Not to mention our server was so friendly. Really nice to have good service and good food.
