I tried their Chula Vista location last month and saw they opened their taco truck back up again so I had to give them a try!!
Quality is the same but dare I say even better than the chula vista location! We ordered the following:
-fish tacos (must order)
-shrimp quesdilla (must order)
-aguachile rojo (must order)
-quesabirria taco
I love that they don’t overcompensate with batter when it comes to their fish tacos. You can actually taste the fish and everything about it is SO flavorful! Their shrimp quesadilla was also a surprise banger! Incredibly tasty and can last as 4 meals between 2 people, the portion is HUGE! Not too salty at all but so addictive. Lastly, their aguachile is a must! I tried this at their chula vista location and it’s still fire!
And ofc they give you complimentary consome! This spot is a hidden gem for sure!

A Mexican food truck that sells great seafood!! Loved their oysters, fresh and a bit spicy. Go well with their chipotle sauce Fish taco, while not the best I had, was good too. The lady talking orders was very nice and friendly, and spoke both English and Spanish. Plenty of parking next to the truck, and good amount of seating under the tent.

Best fish tacos in town. Taco Tuesday. Less than 5 bucks, 2 for 1 tacos. Such a deal. Really good salsas as well unusual. Different all that stuff… Only 2 stars for atmosphere. Because I mean, come on, it’s a taco truck On beautiful University Avenue. But they make it pretty nice. They have tables chairs.

While the food and service are exceptional, the surrounding conditions are unacceptable. The area is frequently used by the homeless as a personal bathroom, which raises major health concerns. The risk of contamination is high if the food is not handled properly, and even a minor mistake could lead to a serious illness. Until the homeless issue is resolved, I cannot recommend eating here. I have witnessed people defecating, urinating, and bathing in this area. There is also uncertainty about the water source they are using, which may be the same waterline utilized by the food truck. If the E-Bike issue that occurred a few years ago has taught me anything, it’s that you can still catch an illness by just being around these unsanitary conditions. Be careful and enjoy at your own risk.
