A friend, my daughter and I walked in and were immediately greated by a kind and very festive server. Although we didn’t know if we were going to eat at the restaurant, we were still treated kindly and assisted immediately. The place was cozy and smelled delightful. The server had made little holiday goodie bags for children and offered one to my daughter even though we decided we weren’t staying for food. P.S. This is not a quick stop in coffee place, which was what we were looking for this time, it is instead a cute and yummy smelling full serve restaurant. We’ll be returning to Monadnock Country Cafe on our next adventure out that way to enjoy the restaurant more in depth.

Visited on a Saturday morning, was a slight wait for a table to open up but no line. Very straightforward breakfast place with what seemed to be home baked bread (excellent). Food came out quickly. We did have to flag down a server for coffee refills and to get the check but as I said it was busy.

Have been meaning to try this spot for breakfast for a long time and today was the day. Exceeded my expectations! Really good biscuits and gravy! Very fast too! Owner and staff were attentive and hospitable. Great breakfast spot! I’ll definitely be back!

We’ve always had a great experience here. We’ve ordered take-out weekly for 3 months, and never had a problem. But today changed my opinion of this diner.

When I called to order, I was put on hold for several minutes until I hung up. This happens, they must have been busy.

I called back a few minutes later and placed my order. They said 15-20 minutes which is normal for a “busy” day. No problem, I always plan for around that.

When I got to the restaurant, they didn’t have an order in under my name, and it turned out it never got put in from paper to the computer. These things happen, I took it in stride. I had a pleasant conversation with the woman at the register and just waited patiently for the order. I paid and tipped as usual.

When I got home, the Eggs Irish was leaking and looked like soup with undercooked egg. I called back and was told they could make a new one. So I went back to pick it up.

Let me be clear all of the above was excellent customer service.

When I got there, the server apologized and bagged the replacement meal. A man was sitting where they tend to have a laptop. I was asked if I had the original. I said no, and asked the server if I could see the new one to make sure it was ok (It was). The man said “we can’t do that then” but backtracked and said they’d do it today only, but never again and that “they have too much going on today” (it was mostly empty). I simply said ok and took the replacement meal, not interested in arguing with him.

The replacement meal was good, but the attitude of this man has made me lose my appetite for this particular diner.

What a great cafe-diner experience! My daughter had Eggs Benedict and I had the French Toast both very good. The menu is simple and the prices are incredibly reasonable giving breakfast is becoming the new “dinner experience” in the northeast as it has been for almost five plus years on the west coast. The staff was super friendly and given to exemplary service. Our server was Nick and we were super impressed with his positive attitude and genuine concern given his young age. I hope to get back soon to try an omelette. Check this place out when In Jaffrey, as you will be glad you did!

Father’s Day brunch with no prices posted. Was told $25 a person after sitting down. Didn’t feel right to walk out. $60.76 for two. Coffee was extra. I guess steak was included but if you didn’t have steak the price should have been lowered. While we were there didn’t see anyone get steak at 10am. Most of the serving pans were empty and the food was lukewarm and not very appealing. The best looking item was the cinnamon roll but they were huge who would pay $25 for a cinnamon roll??? Another customer was extremely upset to find out the cost when cashing out as no bills given at the tables. Never again.

I visited this restaurant in the middle of the week but unfortunately, it was anything but enjoyable. The dining room was practically empty, with only one other table seated besides my own. I came with two friends, and we all ordered omelets with coffee.

While the food didn’t take too long to arrive, the portions were laughable. Each of us barely received any home fries alongside our omelets, leaving us feeling unsatisfied. On top of that, our coffee cups were never refilled, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at all.

The service was lackluster at best. The staff seemed disinterested, and there was no effort to make the experience pleasant. The atmosphere was also disappointing—staring at blank, uninspiring walls made the meal feel even less inviting. There is so much wall space, hang a picture or something.

Given the number of great breakfast spots in the area, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here. The poor service, minimal portions, and lack of ambiance make it an easy pass.

It’s a new tradition my best friend and I are doing. We take each other out for breakfast on our birthdays. The service is perfect. Not so crowded. It reminds me of our old hangout as a teenager. Highly recommended.

We had great breakfast here before hiking Mt. Monadnock, our server was very friendly and we had great conversations about traveling and all the staff we interacted with were great. Our food was delicious and had great portions and was very filling and at a great deal as well. Would highly recommend and will be back.

Good breakfast options, with daily specials too. A great diner style breakfast. The corned beef hash was cooked perfectly, as were the eggs. They offer lunch options and they serve beer and mimosas. The service was amazing, our server was sweet and attentive. Great kids options available and lots of parking.
