My wife and niece visited the Riverside Taphouse for a XUL Beer Co. tap takeover! We were able to try a nice variety of the XUL brews much to our delight! … and yes the PB&J Mixtape was available!
We also ordered a variety of items from
the Food Truck… including the Chimichuri fries, Gruyere and onion grilled cheese and cheese steak sandwich! Everything was delicious and served piping hot!

Great beer selection and great staff. They don’t serve food but I still gave 5 stars because they had an awesome food truck out front. Blonde guy and the girl with bangs were awesome. We will be back!

The people who talk down on Riverside Taphouse don’t come here as often as me and my wife does. Me and my wife live right across the road from this establishment. We met at the taphouse. My wife and I both grew up in this same area. We met here. This is the most comfortable, clean and people oriented establishment. We would rather come here over Jiggy rays in elizabethton or numans in Johnson city tn any day. They are family friendly and pet oriented. We have brought our pets here and they treat our pets and our kids like they are our their own. The incident that happened with the crazy lady in the parking lot was handled by the owners of riverside and the ELIZABETHTON POLICE DEPT. Nothing ever happens at riverside that should require police so that incident was only brought on by the lady who wanted to act childish. We love Cheri, Michael and Hunter. They are family to us and to others in the community.

Lord where do I begin. We probably wouldn’t be down here for a lot of the work Michael & Cheri has done for our downtown Elizabethton! They serve up all kinds of drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). They literally probably have more non alcoholic options than they do alcoholic options!
They do tap take overs plus all kinds of events.
They helped our community during the flooding of Hurricane Helene!

This is not a safe place for real locals. I don’t like to discuss or make anything political, but this establishment allowed a man to make fun of a local senior male veteran wearing a veteran’s cap and a Trump shirt. The same man was allowed to put his hands on a female and offered no help when she requested it. The owners and bartenders were very rude to the seniors. When the seniors left due to unsafe conditions, the female owner and several young women followed the two senior women to their car and got in their faces making threats in a parking lot off premises. The police were called. The female owner and women with her lied to the officers telling them that the seniors started the problem and were followed to their car because they took beer off premises and were intoxicated.
The police believed the owner and young women although the senior women tried to explain that they were verbally and physically assaulted along with the elderly senior veteran. It’s very sad that local people are treated so poorly in this establishment. This is an extremely liberal establishment that does not appreciate the culture of local patrons.

Staff was friendly atmosphere good but there was ROACHES climbing on walls near my table just when I thought it couldn’t get any worse my drink tastes like pipe watar RIP OFF. I will comeback to search for improvement to be fair since it was close to a week ago

The environment is welcoming and the staff are excellent. The selection of craft beer and cider is unmatched and rotates often, so that every experience is new and exciting.
With live music and food trucks on the weekends it is the place to be in Elizabethton Tennessee!

The owners are incredibly awesome, and they have created a nice atmosphere. They don’t serve food, but Big Dan’s BBQ is right next door and it’s easy to grab some BBQ and bring it over for some beers. Their selection is constantly rotating, so there is always something new to try out. They don’t sell growlers, but if you bring one in they are more than happy to fill it up for you.
