From the moment you pull up to 11402 Old River School Road, you can tell this isn’t your everyday bar. The setting is transformed into a Halloween playground: moody lighting, spine‑tingling décor, ghostly silhouettes, and thematic touches that lean into the spooky without going full horror movie (though if you want that, they’ve got it).
As the sky darkens, the place comes alive: DJ sets spin eerie and energetic tracks, the lights flicker just so, and the crowd gets into character. It’s playful Halloween theatre. Expect cocktails with creative names, “haunted” garnish, maybe some dry ice or fog, and bites that fit the theme. It’s less about haute cuisine and more about fun presentation and good enough flavor to keep you sipping. The pop‑up doesn’t skimp on visuals. There are curated photo zones (graveyards, skeletons, fog machines, dramatic lighting) that are perfect for Instagram or just capturing Halloween memories. Plus, there are live performances and DJs to keep the energy high. Entry prices vary by day: Thursdays & Sundays are cheaper, while Fridays & Saturdays command a higher price. If you’re looking for a Halloween‑season night out that’s equal parts spectacle, atmosphere, and fun, Beyond the Grave delivers. You’ll get memorable visuals, a lively crowd, themed drinks and bites, and something Instagram‑worthy around every corner.

Honestly, I was super excited for this experience.. but it was so hot. There was no AC.. all the fun cocktails were out of the cool things that they were displayed with in advertising. The decorations were good. It becomes a big club where everyone is just dancing and super hot and sweaty very limited seating area. It takes forever to get your drinks, & the drinks are very sugary.. It was an OK experience.
Like any pop-up bar it’s very mediocre. If you’re local, it’s fine but if you’re traveling from a distance, don’t waste your time. Happy spooky season.

It was awesomely decorated! Every inch detailed with Halloween themed decorations this time a year. Every type of prop you can think of. From paint to hanging decorations to animatronics. Super cool. The atmosphere was also very cool. Cool, chill and fun vibes from all the people and staff. The Dj was playing great music! Everything he was mixing was a jam and he had everyone dancing the whole time. The food was ok. Average, but on the good side as far as bar food goes. The drinks were cool and fun since they all had Halloween type names and theme. The prices were a bit high, but what you would expect for any place like a club now a days. Drinks average $16 each. Food items vary. Overall experience is awesome! Also there is no cover just RSVP online!

Awesome Haloween themed bar! You can get around the RSVP/admission fee on Thursdays if you show up early, but Friday/Saturday get very busy. Overall, really great bar worth the admission fee for the atmosphere and ambience. Looking forward to the transition into their winter holiday bar!

Was very excited to go, but was definitely disappointed and felt SCAMMED!

They lure you in by giving you “free tickets” when you book on Eventbrite, but when you get to the door they charge you an entrance fee, we paid $14 each. The place is pretty small even though they advertise it as big. We got drinks- they were pretty good. We also ordered a bunch of food and they gave us a number, so we go in and got ourselves a table. Immediately right after we sit at a very small table, a waitress comes and says we aren’t allowed to sit at the tables without a reservation???? and says we have to go stand in the back at the bar area and use THOSE tables, which are already taken because there’s only like 4. Like they want you to eat standing up?! Hold your food and drinks in your hands and eat at the same time?! we went to the front and tried to cancel the food since we didn’t want to eat standing up and the manager took us back to the same table we had, said it was ok to use it….
At this point the vibe was off and we didn’t really enjoy it.

The music was very loud, the playlist had a lot to be desired, definitely not Halloween themed.

We finished our food and left. Will never be coming back.

First time here. It was pretty good overall. If your going you need to take your debit or credit card. Food and alcohol are pricey.

Excellent service as soon as we arrived inside. We were greeted and sat right away. The server was attentive and helpful with the food the menu. We came to try the food out because we had a coupon for a free slider and a sample of the beer. The sliders were delicious. We also had the yucca fries and shrimp fritter. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the other items on the menu.

We went the Saturday before Halloween, we waited 40 min in line before 10pm. It was hot inside. Bathrooms were disgusting. And the server girls were RUDE. We spent $100 on a fish bowl drink you can’t even keep the cool cup. We asked front door gal- whom seemed like she was the manager if we could sit down at a table since a lot were open- she said yes no problem. Two servers came up and rudely told us to move and then went to ask her. We had the run around for 20 min and it was so annoying. All because we didn’t purchase a drink with that server she was upset. Also m76 to get in. (4) of us. We wouldn’t go back because of the rude servers and how sticky it was inside. Also we left as the same time the “manager” did & he sped off driving like a jerk in his Nissan car maybe he was drunk.

Place seems good and wife was excited because she loves shit like that (Halloween shit). We had a reservation (Party of 4) and paid $20.71 per person to go in. No tables were available when we arrived. We were told once a table became available to take it and a server will help us out. About 15 mins later we sit down and order. 30 minutes after ordering food and drinks and still eating and drinking, We were asked if there was anything else, and said we were good for now. About 5 mins later, the server returns and says we have to move because there is a reservation coming in. I mentioned we had a reservation and showed her the stupid wristband they gave us when we walked in since we were told to stand in the reservations line.
Any way, we were told that we had to give up our table in the next 10 mins because a VIP reservation was coming in. I showed her the wristband and told her we have a reservation plus what I was told about the table by another server. Our server pretty much said that we could look for another table. I told her since it’s by reservation, to find me a table and she said she couldn’t do that.
We finished our drinks, asked for a box for our food and walked out. Disappointed about the place. Never returning. If I could give it negative stars I would.
Came to OJOS LOCOS instead.
