This diner is located inside of a Ford dealership and is busier than you would expect. For $15 I had a fantastic breakfast comprised of two eggs, two slices of bacon, hash browns, a humongous waffle and a soda. I couldn’t finish it! It’s also fun to walk around and take a look at some old Mustangs.

I actually had a really good time here. I was a little skeptical of a diner inside of a car dealership, which is a little odd. However, it was great. Plenty of TVs watch whatever you’d like, decent food, there’s even a place structure that the dealership what’s your kids enjoy. If you’re in for service or honestly just need a place to let your kids run around for a few minutes while you watch a game or just catch a rest moment this is a good spot.

This is a really fun place inside a car dealership with a retro diner feel. Not fancy and the folks there are welcoming & helpful. We went for brunch and the food was great! There is a little enclosed play area around the corner for the kids. Recommend!

We recently moved from Rochester NY, and we were so excited to find a restaurant that serves Garbage plates, and Zweigle’s! We definitely enjoyed our “plates”, and the meat sauce was truly what we remembered from our hometown. Our server was sweet, and friendly, and we loved the Rochester memorabilia inside the restaurant. We had the opportunity to talk to the owner’s husband and find out more about the history of the business. We will definitely be back to try out some of the other items on the menu. How fun to have a piece of our hometown, so close to our new home!

Food was decent. Decor needs updating it is really beaten up. Probably won’t be back because I witnessed raw bacon being touched then the spatula handle then a sandwich put together without a glove change. Wiping on the same rag over and over doesn’t count.

Mustang Charlie’s is located inside the Crossroads Ford dealership in Apex. The diner has a classic feel and the service was really outstanding. I had never been so was not sure what to order. They serve breakfast all day, the famous Rochester NY trash plates, sandwiches, burgers, salads, etc. I ordered a burger with classic fries and a chicken cheesesteak with home fries. The burger was tasty and I would order it again. The classic fries were not good . The chicken cheesesteak was average. Next time I will order the breakfast platter to try the omelet. They are closed on Sundays. The gentleman taking the orders was really kind and helpful and the restaurant was very clean. I took my orders to go and am glad I finally tried the diner inside the car dealer.

From Rochester, NY and was super excited about this place when I moved here in 2022. I get plates every month or two the last couple years. My last two experiences have not been good. UberEats an order for two plates, a white hot and Mac salad June 25th. There was no way to ask for no mustard other than a note which they did not follow. Then today I placed an order for pick up for two plates and a white hot through Mustang Charlie’s website (one for a friend who has never had one). This time they followed the no mustard selection on the one plate however the homefries were so old, chewy and hollow. It was embarrassing how much I hyped up Rochester Garbage Plates I grew up on to my friend and then served her old, stale, chewy homefries. Disappointed.

Yummy. Got classic burger and breakfast, neither disappointed. Great atmosphere and frankly a smart idea to host a diner around a bunch of new beautiful cars inside a dealership. Particularly for a car-themed diner. Families, couples and employees came and went for food as I was here, all folks. Will go again. Also cool / novel for bringing friends to visit.
