If you’re looking for a meal that doubles as a cautionary tale, La Pizzeria delivers—mostly in the form of deep regret. This establishment manages to turn “authentic Italian” into a threat rather than a promise. La Pizzeria is where appetite goes to die and bank accounts go to be pillaged. Best pizza in the city, by far, bar none. Costs more than Pizza Hut and Marcos, but this is the real deal authentic pizza oven taste. None of that rotary oven nonsense. Handmade dough, low moisture mozzarella (top tier cheese stretch might I add), and fresh and flavorful toppings. Mellow Mushroom eat your heart out, you’ve been dethroned.

It’s not open. Take the listing off Google so people don’t drive to get food and find it not open. It’s also weirdly inside a Subway. It’s got the signs and pizza area inside the subway but it’s closed. I stopped during lunch time on a weekday.

I”d placed my order over the phone before picking it. The guy there looked sweated and dirty and he did not wash his hands before putting on his gloves. I found out he’s pretty much the only person working there. Which tells me he probably didn’t wash his hands before making my pizza either. Will not recommend or order anything from that place again.
