Worst food of my entire life. I ordered jerk pork and it was dry and terrible, it actually hurt my gums. The pork crumbled and was so difficult to chew, I needed water after every bite. For the price of the food to be high and then nasty is crazy. Best part was the hair that was on the skin (the best part) that I couldn’t even eat because I was grossed out. Today was my first time and also my last time. I hate to tear down Jamaican spots but this was so bad I had to say something.

Discovered 3D’s in 2016. I frequently visit as they serve many traditional Jamaican dishes from ackee and saltfish to jerk with the classic peas and rice, dumpling and even patties. They provide a regular everyday menu that you are sure to get your favorites, but also present daily specials. 3D’s also present some of their homemade drinks, pastries and home snacks within their establishment.

Flavors on point, portion too small. I usually think eating out is a splurge or appropriate price because someone else is cooking my meal & cleaning pots etc…I was surprised at my 2 small “snack box” – 1 of which had barely any cabbage- which is cheap still on wholesale & a patty came to $31. I Checked on Uber & Grubhub & they only price lunch & dinner sizes the site their menu linked to from maps. I got over charged on the Jerk Chicken & Curry Shrimp & patty by $$$ comparing what she told me each cost to what they charge online. I wouldn’t review over a few dollars, it’s fact my portion was small for that price. I expected to be paying less since I got tiny container. You shouldn’t offer a 3rd smallest size container if you charge customer same price as medium “Lunch” entree. I feel jipped.
On the counter there are 3 sizes to show customers. Large, Medium, & smallest Styrofoam size.
I was craving Jamaican, since I went to my favorite spot on Long Island few days ago – & wound up sharing more than I wanted to of my meal, so saw 3D driving by & saw it as a sign. I just wanted 2 snack box size containers (small) & since she had curry chicken patties, I asked for that also. I get inflation, but I paid a little more than $35 at my spot on LI (who’s been cooking generations of recipes for 20 yrs there, refreshing ox tail pans hourly- popular by Jamaican locals there & everyone.) & I got 3× LARGE dinner containers at my spot including curry shrimp +2 sides, salmon +2sides & jerk chicken meals + a patty. NY is usually the rip off for value. Not case here.

The Food Kangaroo
Large oxtail is $18.36 oxtails taste a little more like American beef stew. For almost $19, the plate was mostly rice. Gravy was very thin. However, the woman was very nice! Food is Aesthetically pleasing, just not 10/10 in the taste category. I think curry chicken would be a better try. Curry chicken is Only $12 for a large and is normally good at like 90% of places.

I’m a traveling nurse and I’ve had my fair share of Jamaican food and this is location is top tier the food is great! My favorite is the jerk chicken and rice and porridge my order was delivered hot ! and the uber driver was 30 minutes away so I know it was cooked fresh the jerk chicken was spicy and flavorful.. i highly recommend this place.

Their jerk chicken is the best I’ve tasted. The spice really hits the mark and the savory taste of jerk sauce added to their rice and peas is to die for! When I order here I make sure it’s 2 large Jerk chicken. It’s priced affordably and portion is large!
From all jerk chicken/sauce I had before. 3DS is I can say that tops all of them. If you do enjoy spicy and savory jerk chicken then this is for you.
