I do not recommend this restaurant for hosting any events.
The venue itself looks nice, but the service was extremely disappointing from start to finish.
We were asked to pay the $400 deposit in cash, and were also told the full balance on the day of the event should be paid in cash. This was uncomfortable and unprofessional. Not sure if the reason is to keep transactions off the books to avoid paying taxes.
We were asked what time we wanted the food served and confirmed 7:00–7:30 PM. Our food did not start coming out until 8:49 PM, almost two hours late, and even then it was served in parts at different times. The guisado verde had huge chunks of potatoes and meat, as if it hadn’t been prepared properly.
The restaurant gives you only a four-hour time slot. Our event was from 7–11 PM, yet our guests waited nearly two hours for their “unlimited” drinks. Only Coke and Squirt were provided. When we asked for water, they brought out one 1.5-gallon dispenser for almost 40 guests. We repeatedly had to ask for basic drinks and water throughout the night, which was frustrating and embarrassing.
The pricing and calculations changed multiple times during the event. We were told by Syndy we would receive invoices and receipts, but we received only one credit-card receipt for $127 at the end. When I followed up days later, I was sent a partial picture of a receipt on a computer screen.
Any time we needed a drink, we had to go to the bar and wait more than 10 minutes. Drinks were often written down and charged but not given to us, and then blamed on us as if we were at fault. The bartender (Syndy) appeared overwhelmed and forgetful—two people seemed unable to manage both the restaurant and the event.
Drinks were not made as ordered. For example, a guest ordered a frozen margarita and received it on the rocks. When they asked for it as originally requested, the response by Syndy, “No, you didn’t tell me,” and she walked away.
Near the end of the night, while we were singing and enjoying our remaining time, we were told we had “37 minutes left,” even though our guests had already cleaned up most of our decorations. She (Syndy) then said she was turning off the music she had provided, but instead went to the bar, turned the music louder, and began dancing with the karaoke guy.
The parking situation was another issue. We were told guests had to park at the daycare next door. One guest with a newborn briefly parked at the restaurant lot just to unload her baby and kids. Instead of allowing her to bring the children inside first, Syndy blocked her from entering and demanded she move her car immediately, despite her explanation.
After spending over $2,000 plus 20% Gratuity which we were never informed just added to bills, was supposed to be a special event for my daughter, the lack of professionalism and courtesy completely ruined the experience.
The service did not match what was promised, and I would NOT recommend this place for any event.

I dropped in with the family on Friday evening, but It was not too busy.. We were seated pretty quickly, and the staff was very polite and friendly. My wife had the shrimp fajitas, and I went with the milanesa de res. The plates were served with rice and beans, and I asked for my steak to be well done, which I regret because it was a little crispy on edges! The kids’ menu is great for the little ones, and the salsas were average.

The staff could’ve been a little more welcoming/friendly.. but they got everything done in a timely manner with no issues.
The food was really good, the meat could’ve used a bit more flavor/seasoning but adding a little salsa fixed that.
Their salsa is spicy, but full of flavor.
The prices are really good in comparison to a lot of places.. and they don’t cut you short on meat.
I would definitely come back if I’m in the area. It’s a very cool spot with warm decor.

Food critic here once again. Ordered my menudo for pick up. Arrived and I saw an order waiting to be picked up on the counter. 20 minutes passed and I decided to ask about my order. The 2 girls you have working for you saw my order on the counter already there. Note its the same counter lady that took my order. At this point I look at it as a business. I should get what I ask and pay for. Doesn’t matter if you have 1 or 2 girls working in the morning, they both dropped the ball.

Staff is always welcoming and friendly. Food is amazing! Good flavor and big proportions for the money. Highly recommend giving this place a try. Came here awhile ago they only had one side so it was small not enough tables and people were just standing around your table waiting for one to open up but when we went back they expanded so they have another room with more tables.

I came on November 1st, 2025 – When I first entered, I wasn’t greeted or nothing of that matter. The lady at the front desk, Syndy, looked so unhappy to be there. It wasn’t even busy, there were only like 3 families, so no reason to be upset. She should be thankful I walked in looking to eat – give them business. She starts the grab the menus and just stands off to the side but at the same time talking to a man near. So I obviously wait for her to tell me to follow her since that is what I expect at a restaurant, thats lives off of people coming in and giving them business. I end up just going near her to see if she starts walking, she does. She seats us but doesn’t say anything like “I’ll be right back to take your order”. So in my head I’m like okay.. weird.. A young man comes and gives us chips and salsa. I notice there’s no workers on the floor (mind you the only workers there were are a older lady cleaning, the lady at the front desk, and the young man) So everyone is either in the back hiding or on their phones. I am still waiting to be attended but no one comes by, the lady and the young man only serve other tables, but ignore me. Mind you – it’s dead, there are only 2 families of 6 and 2 couples and then me. So there is not a lot of people to excuse the fact that it’s so busy and they’re understaffed so it’s gonna take long. I am there for 15 minutes waiting to see if anyone is gonna take my order but nobody does. I try making it obvious that I am ready but still nobody comes. So I end up leaving. I don’t know if they didn’t want to serve me because I’m young or what. But whoever owns this restaurant should re-train their employees on how to create a welcoming environment, because this place is a clear example of what is not a welcoming environment. The workers here are a loss of money and the owner should invest in people that strive to work. Not like these people.. What if I was a vlogger and posted my bad experience online.. Next time someone walks into your store or restaurant greet them with a big smile.. Even if you’re suffering inside.

Food was great however, if you’re looking to dine here with a large party 4+ definitely take cash. Your bill will include a 20% tip (understandable) plus an additional 6% service charge on your overall bill when paid with card.

House heads know this..”you ain’t really down” “your tacos were never true”.. Well I guess we were over due for a not so great experience…… This place has a great atmosphere and excellent service… However we wish the food matched. The beverages were great they are rated 5 margaritas out of 5… However the main thing the food was lackluster… the tacos were ummmm lacking .. There is nothing worse than tough meat…. 3 out of 5
