Lu-Lu’s Landing is a seasonal, outdoor food truck venue on the banks on the scenic Skunk River at historical Oakland Mills, IA. Open May1 – Sept 30, Lu-Lu’s Dam Grill is the Landing’s primary food truck which features a unique river theme food menu. Our covered, outdoor seating area overlooks the river and provides a beautiful setting. The Landing also is home to Oakland Bait & Tackle. The areas catfish and more store, with live bait, tackle, cold beer, drinks, snacks and camp supplies. The bait shop hosts monthly live music on the bait shop porch. I had a good burger today. I can’t remember the ladies name but she was very nice and courteous. I will be bring the grandkids here to eat sometime. Food was done fast and not expensive. Parking is not the best only reason it’s not getting 5 star

Excellent food, second only to the people that serve it! The Iowan deserves more attention, and should be a stamp on everyone’s must-have food list. Solid burger and fries that won’t disappoint. Pro tip: pack your favorite drink, grab your favorite person or people, order a few baskets of mud puppies and make an evening out of it on the river.
