The food was good. Good sized quantities and reasonably priced. The service left a bad taste in my mouth though. My wife and I sat at the bar. It wasn’t that busy but we weren’t given much attention. There is a long time gap after we ordered our appetizer and before we were able to place the rest of our order. We sat there for a long time after we were done and had to yell out for help to get the bill. I’m willing to give the place another shot but the service needs to be better.

This sushi spot was really good! The sashimi was especially my favorite, the fresh slices were mouth watering. Very good service. They come and help you at all times. The food was okay. The best thing was the Saba shioyaki for the bento box lunch. The Arnold Palmer I got was a unique flavor. The California roll didn’t have any taste so I added soy sauce and ginger. Overall, a relaxing place off the main strip of downtown Burlingame.

Love sushi and miso soup? This is the place. They are conveniently located right by Burlingame Ave so you can stop by real quick and then carry on exploring what Burlingame Ave has to offer. My favorite is the veggie Gyoza (something I haven’t seen at other Japanese restaurants yet). Maybe I have to keep exploring and I’ll find it. My wife had the chicken katsu bento box and she loved it. The salad has a dressing I’ve never had before but it was not overpowering or plain. Just simple and tasty. The California roll has a lot of crab meat which I thought most people would like, I prefer a little less but it was still good. Service was excellent both times I visited in the past three weeks so I will come here again!
