Prior to arriving to this restaurant, a couple recommended this place while we were on the Mail Run boat tour around the islands, off the coast of Portland, Maine on Thanksgiving day. This and a few other restaurants were only opened.

From the moment we stepped through the door, the owner and staff welcomed us with the kind of warmth that instantly makes you feel like a regular—even if it’s your first visit.

The star of the meal was the Khao Soi, a bowl of curry chicken noodles that was nothing short of extraordinary. The broth was velvety and aromatic, layered with spices that built into a beautiful, balanced heat. The noodles were perfectly cooked, and every bite had that irresistible mix of richness, tang, and gentle spice that makes you slow down just to savor it a little longer.

Before diving into the Khao Soi, we shared the Blossom dumpling—a delicate, almost sculptural bite that managed to be both visually stunning and deeply flavorful. It was tender, savory, and just complex enough to make you appreciate the care behind it. The grilled okra was another quiet triumph: lightly charred, simply seasoned, and a perfect counterpoint to the richness of the curry.

But what truly elevates this place beyond great food is the people. The owner checked in with a smile that felt genuine, eager to share the story behind the dishes, and the staff carried that same enthusiasm. There’s an unmistakable sense of pride and hospitality here—an atmosphere that makes the meal feel personal.

If you find yourself in Portland and want a dining experience that’s comforting, surprising, and wonderfully human, this Thai restaurant is an absolute must. We left full, happy, and already plotting our return.

On a cold day looking for soup that was gluten free I hit upon this place.
You can add lobster to any dish. I almost did to add a local flair and protein although market price was 22$. I am glad I didn’t for this dish but would love to come back to add lobster to my pad thai or fried rice.
With the mint in the the spring rolls beforehand I came away so completely satisfied

Just moved to Maine, came with party of 7. They were very accommodating. Although the tables are a bit small for my liking we made it work and had a great time, the waitress was able to answer any questions we had and made sure we wanted for nothing.

Awesome Thai food in a beautiful new space with a cool bar and beer on draft! Would be a great place to go for a drink and not have to worry about crowds or any kind of a scene.

Delightful lunch! We enjoyed the chive dumplings, Khao soi, corn fritters, and salmon salad, among other dishes, but the blossom dumplings were the real standout. Definitely worth getting! Even the dishes that are standard in other Thai restaurants were elevated here. Quiet and calm atmosphere.

Probably the best Thai/Laotian food in Greater Portland, and worth every penny! Wonderful specials, great cocktails, flavorful and delicious food! Highly recommend the Pad Kra Pow, but they have all sorts of delicious options, and it’s often tough to pick, as all are incredible. The service is also fantastic, cannot recommend this place enough! It’s easy to get in during the offseason, a bit busy in the summer, but don’t let that deter you!

Both the food and the drinks were delicious!! We ordered the Fresh Rolls & the Blossom Dumplings for starters. And for our main dishes we got the special which was Duck in Panang Sauce/Broth and the Mali Pad Thai. For drinks we got a glass of the Pinot Grigio & the Bangkok Mule. All of it was 10/10!! Would highly recommend

Great spot for lunch. Lobster Ragoon, Pork Bao, and the Dumpling Sampler were all amazing!

Also got a Mango Bubble Tea which was delicious.

The Drunken Noodles with Shrimp was really good, but unfortunately I ate it too quickly to get a good picture haha!

Thank you Cate for your friendly and kind service.

Came in for some of the appetizers (chicken satay, wings and moo ping) they were great. The Thai iced tea was perfect. The service, vibe of the place and overall experience was awesome and I can’t wait to go back to try more items.

I went by myself to try them out. Fantastic service, high quality food, you can select your spice level and the staff are just genuinely caring people.

I loved it so much I brought my extended family the next night and my mom tried genuine Thai food for the first time and loved it.

A big thank you to the staff for treating my family like your family. Keep it up!
