A true gem in St. Marys. Glad I was able to visit DD’s bakery on this visit to St. Marys. In addition to 2 large cases of every kind of pastry and donut you could want, they also serve breakfast, with a big menu of great home cooking. I went in to get a couple breakfast sandwiches and a donut or two to take to my dad at the nursing home and ended up walking out with an additional dozen assorted donuts and pastries. Didn’t know who was gonna eat them exactly, but they were begging to be bought. For all that, it was like $21? Ridiculously cheap. Not to mention the convenience and crafts store adjacent.

Today purchase 2 donuts a brownie and a breakfast, and the jelly filled donut had mold spores on the bottom. Health hazard set aside, Overall overpriced, none of the online menu prices are up to date, The manager or owner usually meets us with a very rude demeanor especially if the employee makes a mistake. All of these little things would be easy to look past if the food was at least worth the price and edible.

Great little small town diner. Staff were very friendly, efficient and working very hard. Food came quickly, large servings, very tasty and well prepared. Bakery items in the display cases are tremendous, and worth tasting all of them. Prices are great for the items. We both got a breakfast burritos and were well rewarded.

This place is worth the extra time to stop. They have this incredible baked item called a Bunker Hill. It’s a knotted cinnamon pastry that if filled with a light cream—super yummy, sinfully delicious! You ought to try them sometime. I see diners in there enjoying breakfast whenever I visit. I have not had breakfast here, but judging from the menu and the faces of the diners, it is a value priced good experience.

The service was great. The food was really good. The portion sizes were great too. I ordered the Rob’s Choice breakfast and my eggs were cooked perfectly and it came with toast from fresh baked bread. I would definitely go back there. I do regret not buying any of the fresh made donuts and pastries because they looked and smelled delicious.
