I recently visited Phu Chen Kitchen for lunch with a senior colleague. The experience was overall decent but not particularly memorable. We ordered Chicken with Broccoli and Chicken Noodles—both dishes were served in good portions and arrived in about 15 minutes. The taste was average—not bad, but not something we’d go out of our way for.
I also tried their Vietnamese coffee, which I personally enjoyed. However, my Vietnamese friend wasn’t impressed and felt the flavor didn’t reflect authentic Vietnamese standards.
One of the positives was the ease of access. The restaurant wasn’t crowded at all during lunch hours, and we were seated immediately. There’s ample free parking available, which is a plus. Staff were polite and service was smooth.
Expect to spend around $25–$30 per person for lunch. Overall, Phu Chen Kitchen offers a quiet, no-frills dining experience with average food and friendly service.

Do things together
Be ready to eat! The food is delicious. Don’t forget the chili oil! If you like orange chicken, this place makes it good! BBQ pork is bomb! Beef noodles, fire! Chicken fried rice also fantastic. I can’t wait to be back already!

From the perfectly balanced spice of the Kung Pao to the tender Mongolian beef, and the satisfying chew of the black pepper udon, every dish was executed flawlessly. The dumplings, both steamed and pan-fried, were little bites of heaven. Add in the delicious fried rice, and you have a meal that’s simply…perfect. We’re already craving our next visit.

Me and my daughter stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I had never been here before, but drove by many many times. we ordered the house, special rice, beef Kung pow and dumplings. The food was so fresh and absolutely amazing. 100% recommend this place.

Lives up to the reviews. We ordered take out for lunch thinking we would give it a try. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were only a few tables inside so I was glad we didn’t try to eat in. They did not have lunch portions or specials. We asked for recommendations and the young lady said the general stuff we had seen in the reviews so we tried the chicken noodles, orange chicken, and beef with brocolli. All tasted delicious and the portions were very good. As other reviews mentioned they don’t come with rice so keep that in mind that the items are all ala cart. We were fine with this as we were able to try multiple items. We will be back to try more.

The food was cooked fresh and very delicious. I really like the house kung pao with beef chicken and shrimp. Restaurant was very clean and had a very nice ambiance. Only thing I didn’t like were the dumplings. They taste like they were pre made and frozen. Similar to the costco dumplings. The staff were all very friendly and the food was brought out very fast. This is one of the better asian restaurants in fontana.

Food was really good, happy we found this place. The workers were kind and respectful to us. The food tasted really good and was well seasoned. One of the best Chinese restaurants I’ve ever been to. Overall this place is really great and I would definitely come back!
