A great local gem! Delicious horchata latte and authentic Mexican cuisine. Excellent service and a friendly atmosphere. Very nice family running this place. Also a great location to study / read, play PokemonGo (lot of stops and a gym!) or catch a little break from walking the downtown mall. Highly recommend! =)

Visiting from out of town and we walked by this cafe when someone told us they have the best coffee in cville. We came the next day and got the fresas con crema latte and an horchata latte and both were delicious. They make their own horchata in house. We would highly recommend this cafe.

My family and I stopped by on Sunday afternoon.
Bernardo, the owner and his wife and daughter were very attentive and kind.
The food is very tasty.
We tried guacamole and cheese dip as an appetizer. My wife loved their coffee.
The burrito bowl is so good.
I loved the fact that they put just the right amount of seasoning to their meats.
Over all we had a great time. My children and wife loved their great food and decoration.

I love Sombreros! This is the best place for quick, affordable and delicious breakfast or lunch downtown. Plus their lattes are better than some of the nearby coffee shops. The owners are some of the nicest people you’ll meet.

A vibrant cafe and a wonderful addition to Charlottesville’s downtown mall. Fun drinks, food, and music permeate this space with a personality that is distinct amongst coffee shops in the area. Can’t get better service at a coffee shop on the downtown mall and the good vibes are infectious.

Well first the Mom and Dad that run the place treat everyone as family. They take great pride in providing good food and good service. They make sure everyone feels welcome.
Your food is not only great but the portion size is amazing. They don’t believe in small portions.
Lastly the atmosphere is literally ght and Jolly. They even have a back dining area if you want a quiet place to eat.

Wonderful experience. Had a 16oz latte in a big orange mug….nice & strong! They are using Trager Bros beans so good quality. Had a chance to chat with the owner and his wife. Super nice folks…warmly welcomed and comfortable space to chill for a bit.

Not only is the coffee and food excellent (the chorizo breakfast burrito is the best way to start your day), but the owners/staff are unbelievably thoughtful and friendly. They are always so accommodating for our kids, and they even found and saved my sunglasses for 3 weeks after I thought I had lost them for good! So many reasons to come back again and again.
