My husband and I have been twice, once for dinner and once for brunch. Both times our experience was exceptional. The restaurant has a clean, calm and intimate environment. The menus (brunch, dinner, cocktail) have many unique and fun choices. Pricing is very reasonable when you consider the quality of all that you receive. We had the same waitress twice- Kenzie. She is absolutely wonderful. Kind, lots of fun, attentive, friendly and very helpful. She has gone above and beyond to make our experience phenomenal both times. We will always come back and we will always send people this way. In our opinion this is the best restaurant in Salisbury & the surrounding areas.

I had lunch at Carpe Vinim 121 ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. Expecting the normal dry tasteless chicken but it turned out to be the most tender best tasting grilled chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. The French fries as a side were cooked to perfection, crispy but not dry. Service was excellent and always kept my sweet tea topped off. I will definitely return for lunch next time I’m in town and will be checking out the dinner menu expecting the same awesome food and service!

This place is fabulous! The food is incredible. Bar with a huge selection, great mixed cocktails and attentive and knowledgeable servers. The food is by far the best in the area with a changing menu based on season. The best ribeye steak I’ve had in a very long time. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and top notch service. The owners take pride in this restaurant and it shows. They care about their patrons! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for great atmosphere, excellent service and phenomenal food! Thank you for having this exceptional restaurant in the Salisbury area!

Amazing! As wonderful as everything was, the short rib special is a dish we’ll be thinking about for a while. Our waitress, Samantha, was so kind and knowledgeable without making the night feel too fancy for us. The chef and owner both stopped by the table and seemed to genuinely want our night to be the best it could be. Great cocktails as well! Loved it!

If I could give this restaurant a sixth star, I would! The food was absolutely amazing, but the service was even better. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect—even the bartender came over at one point because she thought we might need something.
For dessert, we decided to try a port, and the owner Daureen personally came over to explain the differences and offer recommendations, which made the experience even more special.
It was a fantastic evening from start to finish. I visited last year under different ownership, and I have to say, it’s even better now! If you go, be sure to try the lamb!

Gorgeous place. Reservations recommended, but we snag bar seat. Brunch menu great. Roasted potato and thick bacon sides fantastic. sweet tea was perfect. The single brew coffee machine is perfect. Owners maned the bar and are very personable. Loved talking with gentleman. Definately want to do dinner one night. We travel from Albemarle for great food. No photos this time.

Absolutely fantastic! Chef Kyle introduced himself and made sure we were taken care of with our food allergies. The entire staff was friendly and really knew the new menu well! I will be dreaming about those Purple Potatoes!!

While in Salisbury for work, I decided to give Carpe Vinum 121 a try. I went on an evening when they had just released a new menu. I opted for the Wagyu Beef Burger. If you have seen some of my other reviews, you probably know…I love burgers.
Knowing that, I don’t say this lightly, this is the best burger I have had in years. Cooked to perfection and along with the, made onsite, truffle aioli and tomato jam was icing on the cake.
Service was great and the vibe in the restaurant was fantastic. The bar looked great and the place just feels homey and cozy. Large space with high ceiling, yet not too loud. You can get lost in the crowd or be right with them, in the same spot. Truly unique. The only bad thing about this spot, I was only there for a couple of days and didn’t have a chance to go back.
If you are anywhere close to Salisbury, NC you have to give this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
