The bbq was pretty good, the menudo had big pieces of meat but the flavor was on point. The tamales were a bit disappointing, we had some super skimpy ones and then a midget one not at all consistent with size. Tamales were also super dry, needed a lot of salsa but they didn’t even give us any.

I got the 1lb of barbacoa and 1 dz pork tamales, and both had very good flavor. The only thing that stopped it from getting 5 stars was the tamales. They were a little on the dry side. The meat to masa was a good ratio. Definitely would eat again. Atmosphere was good, the downfall was the AC being out and standing in line at 90°F on the thermostat was not comfortable. The place was clean just needs some TLC in the beautification department.

We got 2 pounds of barbacoa and two packs of tortillas which we didn’t get to enjoy at all from both packs they are packing the tortillas as they are hot causing the flour to stick together as they cool down every tortilla was stuck to one another causing them to tear apart in pieces like this very disappointing

The Barbacoa here is really good. The tamales were a little bit dry but still had good flavor. I really enjoy their salsa flavors. The employees there were very friendly and readily help out their customers. The only drawback is that the food is a little bit more expensive than I’d like, but it is still worth it.

Best Barbacoa in town! Been going to this spot since I was a kid and it never disappoints. Excellent food at a reasonable price and very friendly service! The Rios’ make you feel like family as soon as you step inside. Go and get you some BARBACOA and BIG RED!

my baby girl sure can eat the delicious Homemade Tamales @ half a dozen per setting. we usually need about 3 dozen chicken tamales for all 8 kiddos and me and handsome hubby. 2 pounds just barely gets us fool cuz we always want that extra half pound more. sometimes 3 lbs of ALL MEAT delicious Rios Barbacoa # 5 will keep us all cozy for the Sunday watching movies and spending time with family.
