The food was really bad. Bland, and not much filling in the burritos we ordered. We had a bad feeling when we pulled up at 630pm and literally no one was in the parking lot and inside was empty. Unfortunately we had already ordered online so we couldn’t back out…It was also $50 just for 2 burritos. (We didnt realize they sneak in an almost $4 “service fee” and we were dumb enough to tip on top of that.) Inside was blasting music even though no one was inside. It was a very odd vibe. Would be surprised if they stay in business much longer.

The only weird thing is that it seemed like the staff didn’t really care about having clients…. When we asked if there was room at the outdoor patio tables for 5 they insisted that only 2 per table could fit. Actually, all 5 people + dog fit nicely around one outdoor patio table.
No complaints about the food. Everything was great and very filling.

Great Mexican food. Everything is vegan, but we went with non-vegan family and everyone was happy. They have a gluten-free menu as well which was helpful. Not only did it taste good, but it looked good to. Fajitas came out sizzling and smelled fantastic!

I got so excited to eat it , I forgot to take most of the pics before I ate…LOL but really, This place is GREAT!!! they have In-N-Out animal Fries, if you miss those…Different name.. The Nacho’s are enormous. Most of the things you get are decent size for $$ also that its vegan, You usually don’t get much anywhere else! My favorite was the California Burrito with Chorizo!!! and the Animal Fries!!! I wanted to try the Sushi but didn’t realize that its only served after 3PM daily. But not to worry, I’ll be back! Oh and great and friendly service!!! you guys are awesome!

Note that this place IS NOT the same restaurant as past reviews. We ordered from the vegan menu, and this place is an absolute disgrace to the Madre Tierra mural covering its outer wall. The previous owners deeply cared about their food and customers. Nowadays, they don’t even pretend to put out fresh food. The waiter couldn’t answer basic questions about the menu. The street tacos were literally inedible — a few flour tortillas with plain cold vegan ‘meat,’ nothing else on it. Wish we took a picture, but we were appalled and sent it back. Truly an affront to Mexican cuisine and the vegan philosophy.

So good! We were seated right away when we walked in at 11am for brunch. The decor is nice with dark woods and a nice open floor plan seating with tables and booths. They play authentic Latin music, and the restaurant although vegan/vegetarian, doesn’t scream vegan restaurant at you. They have a full bar if you’d like to order drinks.
Our server said they now open an hour earlier, so you can come in at 10am. Our server was so friendly and kind and pleasant to speak with. She gave us great suggestions. The wait wasn’t long for our food, and the food itself was delicious. We got the carne asada fries, the breakfast burrito, the coconut shrimp tacos, cucumber frescos, and horchata. Our bill came out to be about $50 for two people. The drinks are bottomless and only $2 each! The salsa/sauces served with our food was delicious, especially the spicy sauce which was my favorite.
One thing I wasn’t the biggest fan of was the bathrooms. The sink water pressure is bit high so the water you’re washing your hands with mists back at you and all over the sink itself. The bathroom doors also are rather large and wide, so it’s a bit cumbersome to get in and out of the bathroom stalls.
All in all, two thumbs up!

This restaurant is in a building where they have great wood work inside that is reminiscent of a church or art museum. But the main artwork is being served by the great staff and prepared by amazing chefs that understand plant-based meals.
The food is appealing to all senses. My wife and I ordered the loaded fries along with the enchilada plate which were both delicious. We finished with a creme brûlée.
The nice part is that you don’t have to ask as to whether any dishes have milk or eggs…although our waiter says that many people still ask.
Enjoy mostly plants.

So I told my best friend who is vegan about this place. She tried it and loved it and sent me pics of her food so I had to try it even though I am a meat lover. The service was great. Our food was a little cold but it was still delicious. They have made me a believer of vegan food. I had some burrito left over and gave it to my brother-n-law I didn’t tell him it was vegan. He also thought it was delicious! His exact words “oh that burrito was good the meat was different but delicious what kind of meat was it?” Lol
