Born in Astoria, Queens in July 2017, Chip City began as a hobby between two childhood friends as they sought to recreate the simple taste of their childhood. What began as a fun challenge to see who could create the best cookie turned into the Chip City we know and love today.

First time at Chip City, and it did not disappoint! The store was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. I didn’t even realize they sell ice cream. I got the sea salt caramel, and it was amazing. I also got the 3-cookie box for $12.99. I forgot to take pictures, but the cookies are huge, soft, and delicious. Definitely coming back!

This place is open until late on the weekends. It said until 1 am! So glad there is somewhere open where we can get a sweet treat. Although it was late, the ladies were very helpful in selecting and packing our cookies. The cookies were warm and delicious.

Family review time….. and this week was Chip City. We ordered and we received the cookies very well packaged. The cookie all 6 people liked: the Mint Cookies & Cream. Delicious. Least favorite was the Pringlicious. We also tried the Chocolate Chip, Oatmeal Thin, S’mores (my favorite) and Hershey’s Chocolate Covered Strawberry. Overall is definitely worth the try. The negative: yes…. Prices are a bit high. We did order and took advantage of a few buy1 get1 free.

I’ve never met a chocolate chip cookie I didn’t like, until now unfortunately. Maybe they were just baked too long or an ingredient was missed, but for $5.50 a cookie, these should be perfect cookies and they were far from that. This is not the first time I’ve paid over $5 for a cookie, but at least I enjoyed the other ones. I actually had to force myself to eat this one, because I didn’t want to waste the money. Guy that helped us was really friendly and that’s the only reason this didn’t get one star.

I usually love Chip City and their cookies are normally amazing, which is why this was so disappointing. I ordered the red velvet cookie sandwich and the frosting was honestly inedible. It had a weird gelatinous texture and tasted awful. I’m genuinely wondering if I was given the display cookie because it did not taste fresh at all. I hope this was just a one off, because I normally have great experiences here.

Went for my birthday, and fortunately my favorite cookie was back on the menu. The notorious oatmeal apple pie cookie! Delicious as always. I tried another cookie that was just as delicious, the lemon berry cookie. Just melts in your mouth with the perfect mild lemon taste with the sweet berry jam like inside. Adding yet another favorite to my list.
