Amazing selection of sandwiches and soups! The food was delicious and we had the absolute best service when we stopped in for lunch! Terrance and his team at Limbertwig Café provided an excellent experience for my coworkers and me. The chicken salad croissants and tomato basil soup were perfect for our gathering—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was quick and thoughtful, and I really appreciated Chris going the extra mile to help me get everything to my car. He even included brownies made by Pat’s, which were absolutely delicious. Thank you to the entire staff for making our meal such a success!

We swung in to grab take out for sandwiches. I’m assuming it was the owner who was great and gave us a rundown of their extensive sandwich menu. We had a French Dip, that had great bread and au jus, along with a Hot chicken wrap. Both were delicious, reasonably priced and served with a smile. Will be back.

What a pleasant surprise! I half thought this was going to be just an OK lunch, but it was fantastic! Finding any place with vegan options is always a plus, and for my wife (not vegan) to get what she wants is off the chain! I’ve had plenty of avocado sandwiches, I make them myself at home, but what really set this one apart was the basil mayo! OMG Batman you hit this one out of the park! My wife loved her chicken salad sandwich and we both had the pasta salad, which was great as well. Service was a little lacking, but it seems everyone is short handed these days, so being able to enjoy sitting outside, we didn’t mind that much for the wait, especially since our food was so good!
For the Limbertwig Cafe this song comes to mind from my “Love Our Life,” album, “Heart of Mine!” It’s like they need where my heart was and served up a big heaping dose of pure love and flavor! What a great way to end our day in Morganton!

Absolutely delicious! The chicken salad is wonderful—tasty and not too much mayo. Just perfect! The tuna salad sandwich my husband ate was also a winner. The menu is extensive, including lots of vegetarian options. Staff were very friendly and generous. This will be our new lunch place whenever we are passing through. In fact, we might plan our travels so we come through at lunch so we can stop here. Yum!!

I’ll start off by saying this place isn’t my typical lunch spot but I wanted to try something new. I got the Appalachian cowboy it came with roast beef, jalapeno jack cheese, onion, lettuce, and roasted red peppers with a side of bbq basil dressing. It was actually fantastic! A nice meaty wrap with all fillings evenly balanced. The bbq basil sauce was also smokey and spicy so tasty! My side was pasta salad (I’ve never had pasta salad) I thought it was pretty good a little different to me it was plain pasta with a zesty dressing but still fairly tasty. My one thing about this place is everyone was just working diligently and quite lol put some music on and have fun with it. I will be back to try more of these tasty sandwiches!

Stopped by here for a bite to eat, as I was in town for work. The food was excellent, the service is above and beyond, and the owner will take care of you!!
Had a minor issue on a sandwich, as they forgot to add something, he went above and beyond and gave me what I needed. Then, after I finished eating he felt bad and gave me my money back.
The level of service here should be on Forbes 5 star travel guide, as they not only know how to give customer service but also EXCELLENT sandwiches for an EXCELLENT price!!!

The place had a really funky smell so we ate outside. We were told the portions were large when they are not. The chicken salad was not even enough to fill you up. The Reuben only barely filled me up and I don’t have a big appetite. Their menus do not reflect changes in price, and while there is a sign explaining that it is in a place where you can’t see it when you’re looking at the menu. We waited almost 25 minutes for our food and we were very disappointed when the portions were this small, and I repeat, after we were informed that they were “pretty big”. I guess we have l different definitions of big. Did I mention that only a half a Reuben is $9 with no sides???
