Very straightforward menu done well. If steaks your thing cooked beautifully you won’t be disappointed. Sides are big so I would order a couple and share between people so you can get a chance to try the different things available.

I am very happy to report that Tallow lived up to the hype! We had a sirloin which was on special and then what really made it was the great sides, the mash being the standout. I love the bottomless fizzy drink, the 99p cone with a flake was an excellent touch, staff amazing food amazing, well worth a visit!

Easy, relaxing, friendly. Steak was really good. I had gorgonzola sauce which was also really good. If I had a criticism, the beef dripping fires were quite salty, and some were so crispy I had to leave them, but that’s a small thing. Overall I had a great experience and would definitely return!

Steak was wonderful, cooked perfectly and nice amount of saltiness to it! We got the fries, spinach and mash and all 3 of them were just amazing. Mash was creamy, fries were crispy and spinach tasted lovely!
We got in here just as they opened and by the time we finished after around an hour of being in there, the restaurant was practically full and people waiting outside so try to get in here quickly as they don’t take bookings!

Everything about this restaurant is simple and a vibe in the best way. The food came out relatively quickly and was to a high standard. The steak was cooked beautifully and seasoned generously with flavour in every bite. The peppercorn sauce was the best I’ve ever had. It was very subtle and wasn’t too overpowering. The burnt butter mash is a must try. I genuinely cannot fault this place. The menu is so simple and clear. A must try.

The best steak I’ve ever had, spot on seasoning, lovely quick service, peppercorn sauce and the jerk mayo were amazing with the sweet potato fries. Also great upsell on the 99p soft serve by the server to the table next to us. The table went from 0 ice cream to 5, so great service there too!
