Green Papaya is new to the area and seems to be very popular. We have waited 35 minutes on a Saturday and 5 minutes on a Wednesday night to be seated. The decor and theme of the restraunt is very trendy especially compared to the Panara it replaced. We have noticed on each visit lots of the plates are chipped. Service is quick and friendly and on both visits while all tables were full our food came out incredibly fast. The sushi might be pre-made as we asked for a sauce to be added to one roll and they were only able to add it as a side. Sushi was good as was everything we ordered. Peanut sauce that comes with Beef Satay was absolutely amazing!

Amazing experience from start to finish!
I visited this restaurant with my family, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was great from the moment we arrived, our waiter was very attentive and checked on us throughout the meal without ever feeling intrusive

The food was very tasty! Everything we tried had amazing flavor, and I genuinely think this is one of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten, I had the Green Papaya Special Roll. We also tried the Roti Canai bread, the Lamp Chop both very delicious, I recommend trying them.
The portions of everything were well served and all the plate presentations were top tier!

The ambience is great. It feels modern and elegant, especially at night with the star ceiling and indirect lighting. Even the bathrooms were clean and very modern.
I also loved that everything from the plates and cups to the silverware was customized with their name in a beautiful way!

The aesthetics, the visuals and the concept of this was everything. I’ve heard lots of good things about this place and could not wait to try. Sushi flavors were spot on and fresh. The fried rice noodles and drinks were just as great as expected. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion and they also have a sushi lunch special. I love the different amount of sushi roll options that I have never heard of available so I will be coming back again and again to explore new options.

Customer service was prompt and professional. Ample seating available as well.

Our group of eight enjoyed our first dining experience throughout our over 3 hour late lunch. There are no remnants of the previous Panera establishment. Everything about the atmosphere is modern and new, including the decor and the extensive menu. In spite of the many attributes, several little things (easily solved) should be addressed. It is helpful for the server to visit tables soon after the guests have begun eating their entrees instead of waiting to check if to-go boxes are needed much later. If anything could be improved, the timing is important. For example, some people may become bothered by eating with even one crooked tine on the fork. At least three were left to use at our table. Overlooking one would be no big deal, but more than one or two seems neglectful. The wait to order our entrees (over a half hour) seemed particularly lengthy. Several of us arrived at least 15 minutes early, and we were directed to our table when our 1:30 reservation arrived. We received beverages quickly enough, and no one wanted appetizers. If someone mentioned that there was a reason for extensive waits for food, we probably would have understood. Another example occurred when we needed a paper napkin or something to wipe up a little spilled water that happened as soon as I tried to transfer water that arrived without any ice to the glass of ice I thought might be easier to bring. Had it occurred to me that we would not receive a napkin before finishing our meal, I would have managed without any ice. The main reason that I wanted icey water along with the hot tea was not knowing how spicy the food might be, since none of us had eaten there before. The ice water became necessary, because all but one of us ordered “1” to keep the spice very mild. In fact, the server requested that we each choose between 0 to 5 to determine spiciness. The first person who selected 0 was told that she could go no lower than 1. However, I was not the only person who thought the 1 sauced food was spicy. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food and ambiance enough to talk about returning and trying the lunch portions on a different day of the week, rather than taking home leftovers (though my hubby was really pleased with mine for his dinner, especially since I had been gone all afternoon).

The way they celebrated our friend’s birthday was especially impressive and generous. Besides that, the dessert our friend shared with us tasted fantastic. It was the bomb! Of course, our birthday gal could have gone into shock with their second bill consisting of 2 extra take home items costing around $8 total, but billed for over $155. I think Won, the server, blamed the kitchen, but shouldn’t he have noticed such a discrepancy before delivering it? Maybe, that’s why he decided not to return to the table again, though we were hoping for a group photo. Instead, the kind greeter graciously took our picture up front.

Thank you for having us today! The menu is extensive and although we didn’t try the sushi we saw many who did and looked great. The presentation is well done and super friendly staff they checked on our table multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. We will be back. Awesome addition to us here in Longwood. The quality of the food is excellent and my meal was fantastic.

The food was so delicious! Everything I ate or tried was amazing. You cannot go wrong with anything you choose to eat. They have an option for everyone! The restaurant is still new so the place looks impeccable They have a good number of parking but be sure to carpool if a large group since the lot gets backed fast.

If you’re looking for high-quality Thai and sushi with a great vibe, Green Papaya is the place. The interior design is sophisticated and welcoming, and the full bar service is a huge plus.

ordered the Spicy Edamame (an off-menu secret!) and it was incredible—the sauce is rich, savory, and perfectly spiced. We also had a specialty tempura-style roll that was fried to perfection. Everything from the service to the presentation was top-notch. Highly recommend!

Green Papaya Thai Sushi & Bar truly delivered a top-tier dining experience. We started with the Green Papaya Sampler and Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps, both fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The Drunken Noodles (Thai hot) brought bold heat and authentic spice that didn’t disappoint, while the Mandarin Steak Teriyaki was tender, savory, and cooked just right. Dessert was the highlight my absolute favorite was the Pineapple Coconut Cake, packed with rich, tropical flavors and pure indulgence. The Tuxedo Bombe was also a great choice for chocolate lovers. Overall, every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, full of flavor, and worth every bite. Definitely a top tier choice and a must visit spot.

This was my first time visiting green papaya restaurant in Altamonte Springs. On the outside, everything is clean walking up to the entrance. Upon entering the green papaya, I was greeted by the hostess immediately with a friendly smile. The inside of the restaurant was very clean, very elegant, gold and black colors running through the restaurant.

The food was amazing with so many different choices. They have a whole section on sushi Thai and Japanese all tied together. I got a ginger salad with their special house made ginger dressing that is a creamy white ginger dressing amazing, clear soup, and Pad Thai noodles with veggies and about a level 3 out 5 on spice. Of course we got green tea. All of our food was delivered by a robot server.

The service at green papaya was top-notch. Everyone was consistently checking on you not once. Did I ever have to look around for assistance or if I was in need of something someone was always right there ready to help. The drinks and the food came out relatively fast within 10 minutes of ordering.

I will definitely be bringing my family and friends back to the green papaya. This is the only green papaya in Central Florida at this time. Cheers ✨

My husband and I went here for dinner last night and it was wonderful. We had been waiting for this place to open and looked forward to trying it. We had the Thai lettuce wraps, the tom yum soup and the Love Boat for 2 sushi platter. Everything was Devine! Cocktails were good too and paired with all the flavors very well. Look forward to returning to try other dishes. Service was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!
