The very moment I walked in the door I knew this place was going to be awesome. The smell of fresh bread and pizza is amazing right away. We were greeted with a smile and sat immediately. After bringing us our drinks they brought free bread and seasoned to Olive oil. It was delicious. This was our 1st time here so we asked our waitress who had been there for a while if she would just pick a pizza out for us and surprise us. 10-15 minutes later we had a fresh beautiful pepperoni, sweet Italian sausage, and mushroom pizza. It was absolutely amazing. I see no reason why to ever go to one of the big Box pizza places. This is the one for me. I will absolutely be back and look forward to working my way through the menu 🙂

Omg! Roma’s was so good! Italian food in no frills atmosphere and friendly service. Kids spaghetti & meatballs was a hit, spinach ravioli was so good, and a baked pasta combo— lasagna, cannelloni and manicotti (who does that?!!). Roma’s does and all was really good. Cannelloni was the nights winner hands down.
Definitely worth going a little off I-10 and out of our way.

A nice new Gem of a restaurant in Gautier!
We were pleasantly surprised by this new restaurant in Gautier. The service was friendly and fast. The food is reasonably priced and we were served quickly. Very tasty too!

I was craving a good plate of spaghetti and meatballs. On my way home after work, I picked up a to go plate from here. My bill was originally $13, but I asked the waitress to add a brownie that was displayed in their cooler. My bill went up to $22 when she added it. I then drove 30 minutes home and was so disappointed when I opened my plate, even more so when I tasted it. There was very little sauce on the noodles and absolutely zero sauce on the unflavored meatballs. I don’t know how this restaurant has 4 stars. The photos in the other reviews don’t even look like they came from the same place. I ate at the Italian Bistro in Pascagoula a few days later, and the spaghetti was on point. It’s my understanding that the owner of Roma’s is also affiliated with the Italian Bistro. Maybe a little training in the kitchen is in order.

I ordered Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo at dinner time cost with tax $19.26 plate had 6 shrimp on it. I’m not impressed, we live on the coast Shrimp are not expensive! For $20 I expected at least 10 to 12 shrimp. Taste good and it is a quite little spot but not at those prices. I will probably give them at least one more try but it won’t be anything shrimp for sure. I would characterize this place as a business lunch or date night restaurant. It isn’t ideal for a family with a budget.

Roma is in the old Pizza Hut building on Ladnier, in GAUTIER y’all!!
They’ve put Italian pictures on the walls, they have nice cloth seats covers. It’s very cozy.
The FOOD. That’s what you want to hear about…
The food is excellent! Reasonably priced for the portions you get and it’s made HOT and FRESH.
The menu is not long and drawn out, so you have easy choices.
YES, there’s a KID’S MENU.
Also, a plus, there are TV’s, so if baby is fussy, ask if you sit close to a TV and see if they can change the channel for you. I don’t think they’d have a problem .
So ends this review. HTH.
