My partner and I come here quite often and the food is always great! One thing to keep in mind is they are a very small staffed establishment and when you first walk in you might not get acknowledged immediately but don’t fret! – like most diners as soon as you seat yourself the waitresses always come to you with a warm smile !! 🙂 Very cozy place and nice atmosphere for breakfast or lunch , its nice to have a gem like this in the valley <3

My Granddaughters took to Breakfast for my Bday a week ago and I loved it. No it is not fancy, it is like being home. My pancake was delicious and the egg done just right. My girls loved their food also. The waitress was great! Yes I will be going back again soon!

After casting our votes, my father and I decided to have breakfast at Sam’s, a local establishment. Upon entering, we found only one clean table available, which we occupied. Despite our presence, the waitress failed to acknowledge us, passing by multiple times without offering any form of greeting or service. She continued to attend to other tables, providing them with place mats, utensils, and coffee, while we remained unacknowledged. Subsequently, she moved to the busser station to clean dishes, completely disregarding us. After an extended period of waiting without any interaction, we chose to leave the establishment, concluding that we would not return. My experience as a former waitress informs me that, regardless of how busy one may be, it is essential to acknowledge patrons, particularly after passing them numerous times. Such behavior reflects poorly on the establishment and indicates a lack of professionalism. It is advisable for management to address these service deficiencies to improve customer satisfaction.

On a trip, checked online for a good place for breakfast! This was it! Nice, clean place, friendly, great food at great prices, takes cash or credit a real home town diner! Coffee was wonderful! Most of the time the food is pretty good. But the last time we were there, I ordered eggs over medium, my wire ordered over easy, and all were solid. The service was extremely poor that day. Never once came to ask how it was or refill the coffee. Offered no refund on the eggs, which we did not eat because the yokes were hard. Decided to stick with Becky’s in Waverly.
