I don’t even really know where to start. But I guess I’ll just start with the menu and pricing / value. If you want a burger fries and a drink be prepared to spend the same amount you would spend for a sit-down restaurant entree that’s not just a sandwich. I thought five guys was expensive but at least they’ll give you a bag full of fries. But anyways there was five of us and my total came to around $80. While I’m sitting there waiting for my food numerous people that are in the restaurant are going up and asking for a refund because they have been waiting for an hour or more for their food. Around the same time one of the girls working asked if we would like our drinks a while so we could have those while we wait which we accepted regretfully. Sing us how there’s no fountain drinks a bottle of soda is around $4 and if you’re going to give out the drinks prior to getting the food your ultimately going to probably need another drink when you get your food. But anyways we waited about 25 more minutes and then also requested our refund. I’m not sure what was going on if it was a lot of online orders or what but if you’re going to charge almost $20 a person to get a burger fries and a drink you shouldn’t have to wait over an hour for it. So I never got my food and I can’t say I’m disappointed because I don’t see any way that that burger would be worth almost $20. On a positive note the employee that was working the register handling refunds kept her composure very well and had a lot of patience. She had a very positive attitude and was doing the best she could given the situation.

My girl and I went in last night for dinner. We both were excited to try the new burger place out. We were very disappointed. The dining area is just to cold. My girl had to wear her coat the entire time. I don’t know why it took so long to get our food, but we were the only ones there and it took around 25 mins. Then the spices they use were very overbearing. I was unable to get a regular soda because they only have craft sodas. We spent around 35.00 for our food. It’s definitely overpriced. I don’t believe we’ll be back unless things improve there. Sorry for the bad review, but we’re supposed to be honest…

The Emily burger is incredible. The Ranchero is also amazing. Staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a little pricey but you get what you pay for. The negative reviews I see on here are clearly just miserable humans wanting to be heard. I have been 3 times since they opened in York and plan to continue to patronize this wonderful burger joint. Never waited more than 10 minutes.

Wow. Horrible. First of all the Dover location of Greer’s is amazing, so is the Hanover’s. Not this location… We ordered 3 cheeseburgers on Saturday while it was a little busy. We waited over an hour for our food to be delivered. During this wait time we saw several customers form a line to get refunds for their food that they couldn’t wait for any longer. When our food eventually came all of it but one cheeseburger was cold. The warm cheeseburger actually wasn’t ready when we got our food and was delivered after we got our food already. The fries weren’t seasoned like normal Greer usually is. I’m really surprised my wife asked for a refund, it’s our first time ever doing so. We are 33 years old. I just don’t know how to portray how bad this experience was. I’ve never seen so many customers asking for a refund. I think the family next to our table had their dinner ruined. NEVER come here. This was our 5 year olds birthday dinner because she loves the Dover location so much. Damn. It’s sad.

Absolutely horrible food!!! Buyer Beware !!! The young girl up front was the best part of my experience. Asked to speak to a manager, girl went to get owner and he wouldn’t come out. Ordered a fried pickle burger and it was soo spicy I couldn’t eat it. Then, when they refunded my money, I had to remind him that I paid tax on the burger. Not to mention, when picking up the order, I waited 15 minutes past the pick up time. Definitely not a place to go for lunch, even for a pickup.

Me and my wife were very excited for this place as it’s nearby to us. First, it was pretty cold inside so not super enjoyable to eat in. Next, we got the pickle burger (double patty), the ranchero, fries and a slider. Also disappointing was the soda selection being only craft stuff, so we got a root beer and an apple juice. We were just under 40$ for two burgers, a slider, two drinks and one order of fries. The fried pickles on the burger were over seasoned by a lot and not crispy. The smash patties were very salty. Burgers were unfortunately pretty mid, and not very filling. For the money it costed us, I think I would’ve rather had five guys. Customer service was very good, but I don’t think that I would come back here solely based on value alone.

Called several times— different locations… left messages- nothing! The boxes looked like someone chewed on them! Thanks for getting back to me!!! Spending over $60 for some donuts

Comparing this location to Hanover, York needs to do better. Poor customer service from employees & management! Really rude.

I would really appreciate it if a MANAGER would contact me or let me know how to contact you. The fact that theres no phone to get ahold of anybody on is seriously frustrating.

Only saving grace was that the burgers came out as expected. Waited 30 minutes for two singles, was not busy in slightest. 4 people crammed into that kitchen and not a single one of them changed their gloves in the 45 minutes I was here. I watched 2 separate employees leave the kitchen, with their gloves still on and returned back to the kitchen to continue cooking and touching food with the same exact gloves and no washing of the hands. One of these employees happened to leave the line to take a drink from a personal water bottle, touched the mouth piece with their gloved hand which was just in their mouth. Then went right to the food window and touched ready to eat food WITH THE SAME HAND. absolutely disgusting food handling practices being displayed out in the open. It’s an open kitchen guys, at least reglove up everytime you touch something and wash your hands anytime you return from leaving the line. Simple things being looked over by a manager who only comes out to grab a bottle of soda from the FOH fridge and then disappears again into the back. This place wouldve been 5/5 across the board had it not been for the improper food handling techniques and long wait times despite a over staffed kitchen. FOH employee was witnessed removing her glove, only to put back on the same used glove. Guys…these are DISPOSABLE for a reason.
