My girlfriend and I had an amazing experience at Grann. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and outstanding service. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home.
The food was absolutely incredible—fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with love. Every bite reminded me why good home-style cooking will never go out of style. You can tell real pride and passion goes into everything they serve.
The atmosphere was just as great as the food: clean, comfortable, and full of positive energy. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.
This Black-owned business is doing things the right way—great food, great people, and great service. We were truly blown away and will definitely be returning. Highly recommend.

We took family visiting from out of town to Grann for dinner and had a great experience. Service was friendly and quick, and the family-style menu highlights a creative blend of Indian and Creole flavors.
The jambalaya biryani and fried chicken lollipops were standouts. One of the owners stopped by our table to chat, which made the experience feel especially welcoming. He also mentioned the menu rotates between Indian- and Creole-focused dishes, so we’re already planning to come back.

Great atmosphere, solid drink and food menu, everything we ordered was delicious. I absolutely love Creole and Southern American food, and the Indian twist made their take really unique. The Goat Gumbo was truly the GOAT. We also loved the sweet potato cornbread, the mufalletta, the fish and grits, and we couldn’t resist the bread pudding. I’ll definitely be back!

Eating here is one of those experiences I wish I could have for the first time again. The dishes are so interesting, with pops of unexpected flavors and textures. Everything we tried was delicious. It really made me wish they had a tasting menu so I could just try one of everything they had to offer! The artichoke puri and softshell crab appetizers were to die for. The shrimp po’boy with pickled-then-fried green tomatoes was my favorite dish of the night… and I don’t believe I’ve ever had a fried green tomato that wasn’t a bit soggy until now… this place gets every texture on point. Every drink was excellent and exciting, with flavor combos I’ve never tried that just worked beautifully. The bread pudding dessert was mind-boggling… so freaking delicious, perfect amount of sweetness, buttery as hell. Our server, T, was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave the best recommendations. Overall we had a wonderful experience here and cannot wait to bring friends and family with us on our next visit.

Oh man, being from southern Louisiana, I was skeptical coming in. There have been so many times I’ve tried “southern” food that just ain’t it. We knew once we tasted the collards that this place was legit!
Yes every dish has some kind of fusion twist, but seems like they do a good job of getting that comfort food richness, no matter which cuisine takes lead in any particular dish. They use the right flavors to honor the old recipes while still providing a fresh new take. We got the collards with a yummy hot sauce, crawfish risotto, chicken palak lasagna, and spiced apple bread pudding with salted whipped butter. Delicious.
Also the drinks are on point! Balanced— too often whiskey cocktails are too sweet and the Crossroads was perfectly bitter and whiskey-forward.
People leaving bad reviews for the atmosphere on here are nuts. Yeah it’s loud but it’s a fun, vibrant restaurant with birthday songs, laughter, and lots of love.
These guys are killing it! Can’t wait to try more things here.

i cannot rave enough about this restaurant. first off; when we got there – the whole staff was so welcoming. there was one of the owners there, walking around making sure everything was good for everyone & checking in. then the food – wow. it was absolutely incredible. very authentic indian food but with a southern twist which is so refreshing. there were a lot of classic dishes like biryani (chicken tikka biryani), beef kabob, but then some that had a twist like gulgappa chaat – with black beans, etc. the curry caesar was to die for. the drinks were amazing we 1000% will be back. and also our waitress was the best (the red head with curly hair – so sorry i can’t remember her name 🙁 ) the service was great, she made sure we had everything we needed. whole experience was 1000/10 & i will be telling everyone i know to come here!

I couldn’t wait to go support and check out this local to me restaurant. Walked in to a beautiful and well kept up restaurant! Welcomed with smiles and received outstanding service! Couldn’t have been happier with that aspect. Now let’s get into the food. We ordered 2 drinks, 1 appetizer (pani puri) 2 sides (greens and beans x rice) and 1 main course (shrimp po boy)… Let’s just say I got a bit nervous waiting on our food as we watched orders from a few surrounding tables being sent back to the kitchen. I overheard comments of chicken being dry and sandwiches bread being impossible to eat. Our food came and I’ll just say we were very disappointed. Two things that really stood out to us, the coconut green were extremely salty with coconut flavor nowhere to be found and rock hard bread for the sandwich that had cold fried shrimp. The pani puri was beautifully plated and the fries were great though.

Grann is the kind of place that turns a meal into a shared experience. This was my second visit, and bringing my family here as a Christmas gift made it even better because we passed plates around, tasting everything, and just enjoying the moment together.
The food is bold, soulful, and comforting in the best way. From the gator burger to the soft-shell crab salad, everything felt thoughtfully done without losing its Southern heart. The collard greens, beans and rice, cornbread, and that po’boy sandwich were all standouts: rich, balanced, and deeply satisfying. Washed down with sweet tea, it was one of those meals that makes you pause and say, yeah… this is it.
Grann isn’t just good food, it’s warmth, flavor, and togetherness on a plate. A perfect spot for sharing stories, laughs, and seriously good cooking.
It’s one for the books and I’m extremely happy that my family enjoyed it just as much as I did! Credit to the owner! Must try in Tacoma!

I already can’t wait until the next time I get the experience of eating at GRANN! Wow, 5 stars to food, service, and atmosphere without question. These were some of the most flavorful and unique dishes I’ve ever had in one place. Just walking into the restaurant your senses erupt with the most amazing scents of spices and blends of food magic. And Chef Reginald and Denzel the founders made their presence known in a way that felt like they were welcoming you into their home. The service was outstanding and this was not just dinner, it was an experience!

Wow. Grann truly exceeded our high expectations! Great cocktails, fantastic food, and even a visit from the chef to our table. It was very busy on a Friday night, so book your reservation early. Will be recommending to all my friends and will certainly be back!
